Curious about the induction lights.

Were you satisfied? Grams per watt? Thoughts or opinions?

Nice looking grow.

This is one of the few induction threads I can find. What made you start using the induction lights and what was your cost?

hey buddy im curious about the tasty of the weed that grow under this light, from the pix look tasty but i wait your response grower...anyway i think is a great result!!

very nice growshow, I've been looking at buying some induction lamps and this grow has made me more comfortable with the idea of investing in them. I see you got a decent yield so the lights must work pretty well. I feel for you on the HotBox mate, did you end up selling it? I'm thinking of just buying C02 from a brewing shop or an aquarium as they charge less than growshops for C02 equipment. Looking forward to seeing more of your grows in future, good work mate.

bumping an old thread with a new (maybe) question. I have a 400W 5,000K induction. Thing's huge. 5 feet long and 1 foot wide. My thoughts are to add either two 150W HPS towards the middle of the induction bulb to help with the red spectrum - or - add a 400W HPS right in the center. Either way, I would run them both together. I plan to veg under the induction alone, have a switch to kick on the HPS when flower time comes, put them all on a timer and go 11hrs on and 13hrs off.
Anyone with first hand experience in doing something like this? Mixing HPS with induction at the same time? I would have gotten something like 2800K induction light but the 5000K was all that was available at the wonderful price of...FREE. Any ideas? I want to get an idea of whether or not I'm on the right track before I have to enlarge my flower room to make space for this monstrous sized induction lamp. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Peace.

its hard to answer your question without pictures but i will keep it simple induction works well with low light strains ie Indica white widows etc best mixing hps with induction is what i do and it works plants need light certain spectrum and heat with induction it runs a lot cooler so in winter time check your temps and good luck bro

Yeah mixing HPS will give you that penetration and bulkiness to the buds that your are looking for. Although if the thing is really 5' x 1', (what the fuck how is it that big?)
I would add a T5HO or PL-L if you like DIY or you want to keep the heat down and stealth up. Either way, mixing spectrums with induction lights is the way to go but you'll only need to add the HPS or MH or Fluo's or watever, until early flowering, possibly right around the stretch benchmark.
