i use bio Co2 ...its used for aquariumplants
its water ,yeast and sugar.....on about 23C° it starts to fermentate and that releases Co2...only thing is dont know how much... :chin:

you can do this also with beeryeast (high yeasting)it supposed two produce higher levels of Co2 but then again i did not try this out...should be better then Bio Co2 nways

should work......everything is better that notthing :joint:

ohw a little warning...this attracts fruitflyes, gnats and other unwanted flying bugs...i dont know if beer does that..but i think so ! :badday:

I actually considered this.. I have a book called the alaskan bootleggers bible. I was afraid of it blowing up inside my grow closet. When the time comes I think i will try a few of the 2 litre bottles with a whole in the cap with yeast sugar and water.. I saw a link for that somewhere on here..

i dont know how it would blow up your growroom but all you doo is mix your ingedents then put in yeast the put on the co2 air lock thing then just connect a tube from this into your grow room instant co2 for about a month. i think that 2 ltre method wouldnt last much longer then 2 weeks or so.

actually i would like to try the beer but I think it needs to be in my cellar or somewhere cooler anyway.. I think my closet would be too hot.. Besides.. sterilyzing everything is a PIA.. one project at a time.

I brew in the same space I grow. I can't say how well the co2 actually helps things, but it certainly can't hurt. The smell of fermenting beer can be rather convenient, and the end results are almost always worthwhile.

Really? I will have to read up on it again.. I thought it should brew at a certain temp... The odor thing is a good point. My closet is between 70 and 80 degrees though.

i thought that was about the perfect temp. and you could also make hard cider by just getting a gal of apple cider and a packet a yeast and use 1/3 of it for 1 gal but that will only last 2 weeks or so before its done

If you want real co2 enrichment you have two choices,a generator or a tank and regulator, anything else may be fun but you wont get any benefit. You have to know what your doing to get benefit from a real system, something like fermentation isnt going to help
