Should try growing portabella or oyster mushrooms.

Couple of buckets of spawn incubating in the corner will do the same thing cheaper... plus you get a bunch of mushrooms you can eat out of it.

Still... handy to just grab a bag, eh?

Very pretty plants.

I was interested in this post, as I cultivate mushrooms and could easily put some
filter patch sacks of colonizing substrate into the tent. I have just not convinced myself
that they would manage to raise the CO2 in the tent appreciably, with all the air flow that
I am driving through the tent.

FWIW, you can take a sample from one bag, after it has been colonized, and start new
bags with it. I would recommend straw as a substrate, as it is very forgiving.

Good luck,

JD

I've been eye balling those co2 bags for the last 2 months....I'm very curious to see the results....I understand that co2 can increase your yield in a big way.....do you have anything to compare this grows yield against? Keep me in the loop if you could I'd appreciate it.Best of luck.....May The Green Be With You.

I will need to remember this...as it will only be between crops that I will be able to
do the work in the tent as this will require.

I made sacks of several species the other weekend. I just have no way to put them
into the tent. I will need to set up some hooks to hang the filter patch sacks, as I will
need the floor space for plants. (and the SOG in place will need to be cleared first too)

Mushroom mycelium in plant soil benefits most plants.

I am sure that it is good for cannbis....but I can only say from my
own experience that it is good for mint, chives, and parsley:

Take care,

Just curious I really like this idea I find it hard to pay for CO2 and often think there has to be a better way/ do you buy the spores and place them in the dirt? I guess my question is what's the process?
