people always have trouble cloning...i just dont get it...if any one cares to know how i clone just ask...it does not include any rooting hormone..its just nature y'all...we just replicate the proper conditions and they root...plain and simple...not complicated

Its not supposed to be hard but for some we just have to find what works. Also some strains may be harder. Last time I had some NL and they cloned in a bubbler ASAP. Now I am trying to clone some Blueberry and they are kicking my ass. I just started over with some RR, and cleaned the bubbler, combined all the pumps and airstones into one for massive bubbles. Also tried 2 different rooting solutions.

Something is going to work !!!

Oh god ude blueberry was my first cloning try and I had a hell of a time too; so I know where you are coming from yamaha.

I had different strains in a bubble cloner and I had NL, OB, Blueberry,bOgglegum, Sour diesal and one other one.......

The only ones that did not root was blueberry and bogglegums.... I was only able to clone bogglegums in peat pucks with rooting hormone.

Like stated above, you have way to much light. Get a 27 watt cfl and put it 6 inches above dome. I have found that my clones also root faster when i don't mist them at all. Some strains if things are not just right can take 3 weeks so don't give up yet. keep temps around 75 in the dome. Take dome off twice a day.

I switched to a 27 watt light yesterday so we'll see how that goes. I also switched the light to 20 on, 4 off. Is that fine? I'm off to go check on them....

yes, it's a hydrofarm 2 foot 6400k 2200 lumen t5.

I forgot to update this morning but we have our first root!!!

during this process I found that it's easier to keep humidity high by having some standing water in the bottom of the tray. Without it I have to mist every other day. With it in there I can mist the rockwool every 4-6 days. Do any of you guys do something like this? Also, my dome does have some slight holes that allow some of the humidity out. I try to cover them but it's not 100% sealed, maybe 95%.

try a bubble cloner next time...its so easy under 10$ and in 2 days, i already see a tiny root .5cm long comin out

Ditto I recommend a bubbler cloner, seems so much better than the misting and dome method. I'm building one now :). rr14 I've tried all that and it still annoys the **** out of me. Results are so much better with a bubbler.

I actually tried a bubble cloner that I built and my success rate was even worse than right now. I may end up spending the cash and buying an ez clone. I bet it'd be worth the cash in stress releif alone.

man oh man...man and his complication of simplicity...cloning is a natural occurrence...no bubbles or anything else needed just medium proper temps and humidity..moisture..and light..gets roots in 7 days..good luck on the easier methods lol...peace

Believe me Brainthor I'm all about simplicity but the simple dome and misting method was not working. The area of my room that has the clones I can't disturb at certain times because I have to disturb my flowering plants with lights to visit them. So the cuttings have lost basically all moisture by the time I get to them (when the light for the flowering plants turn on). It only gets worse in the summer when I have to keep the dehumidifier on. So I just decided to build a bubbler cloner. Still simple just better because my clones won't have to worry about not having enough moisture or care.

this is how i clone...no dome...no misting... just a simple tray on the floor in my veg room which is at 65 percent humidity and 75 degrees...i get roots in 7 days the longest is 14...screw the easy cloner you cant get any easier than the way i do it...no clone gel needed either...the trick is them only being saturated one time when put in the tray and only if the droop do the get a few drops of water on the rapid rooter...if its a 100 percent humidity all of the time the clone is in no hurry to root
