cloning without mother room

I have a single closet I plan on using for sog. I want to propagate continuously by cloning, but have no area for mother plants. The lights in the closet will always be ran under 12/12.

How much stress would I put the clones through, cutting from flowering plants, and putting them in 12/12? Do I have any alternatives?

Thats not going to work...

You will have to build an area for a small mum or 2 bottom or top....

and the rest for sog or scrog.....

You can keep a mom in a 16 oz cup.... or something shorter....

You can take cutting from veg plants(serial cuttings...no mom) but something must be vegging.....

K not possible clones need times to root. and once in flower your shouldnt take cuttings cause of hormonal changes can give you some werid effects if your deep in flower. but start a mom build a 2ft cube and just have a mom plant in like a low wide planter and bonsai the shit. if ur just personal growing you should only need like 5 or 6 maybe 20 clones every cycle if you sog but yea 2x2x2 box with a cfl and your good to go. search for info on bonsai moms

You dont have to have a mum. You can just build a small clong box.

I would use a bubble cloner, so you can increase rooting speed,and ensure more root out of every batch.

Ive followed grows where the guy just cloned his clones in flower. You can flip a clone once it shows any roots.

Just move from bubble cloner to medium, flower, your good.

It can be perpetual, it can be done, you just need to have your cloning routine down pat.

The cloning box would only need to be a cfl, or if you are trying to do alot of clones, 2 short flouro tubes.

They make short ones, I would use a cfl. You dont want alot of light for clones, so its not like your running another veg/grow space, its just a box that makes clones grow roots.

Then you plant and flower. I dont see the problem.

Would it be better to just pollinate them and make seeds late in flowering? If I did this, what's the latest I should pollinate so I can harvest the bud and seeds simultaneously? I would like about 20 new plants every 3 weeks.

It looks like you aren't tryin to shell out much dough. Why don't you get a lamp kit at walmart (only 4$ and has all the valuable peices) and two rubbermaids? Worked for me, put a fan in the top if you got the extra 5 dollers or just work out some other ventilation scheme, like a ton of vent holes and only closing when its lights off.

p.s. - You can use tinfoil, nobody is gonna make fun of you

I have 2x 25 watt hortiulture flood light bulbs..wal mart, and 2 24 inch 25 watt flouro's....walmart...in a sectioned off corner of my grow room, these lights do not generate too much heat...you can train mothers by tying them down to not grow tall. When flowering under main light keep clonning mother in sectioned off room and when using main light for veging you can keep it out. also you may want to look into 65 watt compact flouresents ...home depot...I would think four or five should work for a 4x4 ft room..you can check out my pics of my space
