No, it's from the UK - I was given it 18 months ago. I've never met the guy it came from, so I can't track it down - to be honest, I was hoping someone would ask, as it's puzzled me for a while.

It doesn't look like many G13s I've seen on here - the leaves are far more 'droopy' and wide than others. Also it's very, very branchy, not columnar, and has some sativa traits I wouldn't expect in a supposedly pure indica. Grown next to the skunks, it has some very similar features. Also the pistils are the fattest, creamiest pistils I've ever seen on cannabis - very thick indeed. The buds almost have the appearance of an Old-English Sheepdog at the end! The stems are relatively weak compared to my other indica-dom plants.

The buds are not dense when dry - more fluffy like skunk. The smell is gorgeous - lemon/lime with ginger. When it's curing it has a slightly rotten meat smell around it, but when properly cured, this changes almost to toffee - delicious. The high is also not narcotic at all - very dreamy, but certainly not indica-dom - 50/50 at most. Very potent.

Given the relative lack of interest in the lineage of strains in the UK, I suspect this could be one of Soma's G13 crosses, or maybe from the G13 collection - dunno? There's plenty of pics of it in my gallery though - if you can wade through them all - it is getting quite large...:)

Hey EM, looking good...those clones are showing some wicked colours, very nice. About the G13, i think you may be bang on in thinking its from a cross...either Soma's/PofG13 or some other offering, it sounds great either way. :yummy:

Great work man, keep keeping it green! :sasmokin:

Yeah, most of the G13 cuts I've seen here look mure 'kushy/afghan', like the NL X BB I have - dark green leaves, quite shiny/waxy, with deep veins. This one is bright green in veg - like a granny smith apple, and the leaves are matt and smooth. When young, the leaves are very chubby and the blades are completely oval. As it matures, they get a pronounced droop on them, and get longer, and much more sativa-looking.

The high is not narcotic at all - very strong, but dreamy/hypnotic, and with quite a lift - it's great stuff. It's probably more accurate to say it has a grapefruit, rather than lemon/lime smell, but it's very sweet. Who knows eh? But it's a winner...:)
