Clone help

hey guys so i have 2 cuttings off my big plant. this is my first time trying to clone so i just went for an experiment. i mixed some perlite in with some peat moss, stuck the cutting in the rooting gel and planted it into the moist peatmoss.
it is day 2 now and the bottom leaves are already starting to yellow, i give them about 8 or so hours of light just from my window, the one has a cup over it kind of like a humidity dome but it is yellowing also, temps probably about 75 or 80.

is there anything i can do to help them or are my cuttings just mostlikely gonna die?

the first day i pretty much just kept them im the dark because they were wilting bad but the next morning they were looking better and since then yeah they have just been recieving daily window light.
so providing them with more light time like 16 hours should help?

thanks

they wilt because you just cut off there drinking supply. THey need lots of misting from a sprayer and lots of light, 24 hour floro light if possible, and 100% humidity, meaning a dome of some sort for at least the first week. It takes about 48 to 78 hours for the growth hormons in the dip to take effect.

SCF is on point you need 24 hrs under a flouro. flouros cost as little as 2-3 dollars and you can screw them into a regular lamp socket. there really isnt a reason not to get one, if its too expensive you can just panhandle for 30 minutes.

They're yellowing because the plant is using up it's stored nutes trying to photosynthesis all that light energy. Give them 18h of much weaker light. A single 40w bulb from a shop light is plenty for several hundred clones. Also, don't spray the clones directly with the water if you're using a dome...just spray the inside of the dome.

also on that note dont cut off or remove any of the yellowing growth, the clone is using that to survive until it develops a root structure and if you do so it may not make it. good luck.

do not pamper them(mist,feed)...force them to produce them legs and walk on their own
