Clear Trichomes

I read everywhere that harvesting with more clear than cloudy trichomes gives a "speedy" or "psychedelic" effect, but so far haven't seen a scientific explanation for this. If the cloudy are high in THC, and the amber CBN, then what's the cannabinoid (or other chemistry) responsible for the reported effects caused by clear trichomes? Thanks!

That's a good topic friend, thanks for posting. The many views I see come from personal experiences people have from smoking it. When a person grows for twenty or fifty years they learn from experiences. As far as chemistry goes on a scientific view one would need to be a scientist because of the complexity of the 400 different molecules in the cannabis plant. There are a lot more Universities doing research now than ever before. You can look them up if you have the time.

The cannabis plant contains more than 400 molecules, approximately 100 of which are cannabinoids, but it also contains numerous other chemicals including terpenoids, flavonoids and omega-3 and 6 fatty acids. Google

Thanks for the response. I've tried searching elsewhere for the info, to no avail. Not sure if it's because internet search has become so crappified or, as you suggested, the research just hasn't been done yet, but figured icmag would be as good a place as any to check. I too put a lot of emphasis on the knowledge gained by experience and, being the curious person that I am, always looking for solid information wherever it may be found. Only been growing a few years since it was legalized in my state, but has been a life changing experience that I would find hard to abandon, even in the unlikely event that I were to eventually stop consuming.
