Cinderella 99 = Which Breeder has best rep?

I use to grow Cinderella-99 that I got from brother grims through heavens stairway. Man I can still remember the smell of opening up a nice mason jar full of c-99 and I can still vividly recall looking at the plant from bean to harvest it was a treasure the whole way. Pure white crystal covered buds .

Well I tried going with the breeder Female seeds version. Total crap not worth the time or space. Every bean was a different pheno and they all sucked. One did finish fast in 45 days but it was still crap no decent smell ,no frickin crystals.

So Im gonna have another go at it. from reading various post's online I've heard only positive reviews for Mosca's bX-1 version.

Has anyone grown out Mosca's? or is there another breeder out there that has a outstanding c-99?

I really like what ive been reading up on Jilly Bean. But I have never smoked or grown it.
Does it have a under cover smell growing(like c-99)?
Is it a keeper plant as far as the high goes?

Don't know from personal experience with jillybean but I've read sub's strains in general are lacking in the potency department. There's a thread on it here at the mag. But like I said I never grown that one out. Dutchgrown has a lot of Cindy highbrids. Mosca I've read mostly good about with his bx.

I don't think that you can go wrong with Mosca - check out Gnome's Mosca thread. I've never grown Jilly Bean, but have smoked a good bit of it. It's a pleasant, mild, "up" effect.

i've read FS C'99 is only half Cinderella 99:they've crossed cinderella 99 with Maroc, then with a Neville Haze, then crossed them to make C'99. Is it true?

It came from the Frost Brothers who worked Joey Weeds f2's that were from original BG stock. At any rate Peak worked it and have put out an outstanding product. I have my keeper done at 50 days with a high that feels like X T C as it crescendos.

But there is better strains out there

I grew the originals from Brothers Grimm too. That was my first grow with good seeds. C99 has been my all time favorite strain since then.

I grew out a couple packs of Gypsy Nirvana C99 F2s in 2011. They weren't as uniform as the originals, but I'd say 1/3 of the females were just as good as my best female from Brothers Grimm. Grow out a whole pack, and I'm sure you'll find a keeper.

My friends like it..

I ran a brothers grim cut for a few cycles...smell is unique....almost a fruity airplane glue to me...others say I'm crazy and it smells nothing like that..but who knows....I'm not especially fond of smoking the flowers, but extract made from it is very nice...hits me in the head more than you would expect it too based on the looks of it...Indica type growth..didn't like side branching out......but with tiny flowers and a really nice calyx to leaf ration in the end. I kept a bunch for storage and let the cut die.

It does STINK to high heaven when it is smoked tho....it just clings to you....biggest complaint....oh and she was a light feeder in comparison to my other strains.

No they do not. Not the Peak Seeds I'm familiar with anyway. I've followed them for years and have never seen them offer C99.

While that may or may not be true (would be nice if it is), they do not have it available at this time. The OP is looking for a good representation of C99, not a rumor.

KOS and fearless UK both have pretty decent C99 seeds.

Welder Dan may be right. I would email MJ and see if he still has stock he is giving away as freebies.
But I am correct in that PeakSeeds BC has worked and parsed out C99 to their customers.

Jill was lucky enough to be gifted this amazing Orange Skunk and the day we smoked the finished bud we knew we had to outcross it with our Space Queen male.

c99 to jilly bean not really apples to apples.

i'm doing a strain preservation run on some old apollo 13 beans atm.

Apollo 13 Cannabis Seeds are an absolute beauty and the cross between the Genius mother and the P75 father. This Sativa leaves you with a more uplifting, psychedelic, high compared to her Indica sister and it certainly packs a floaty punch! This strain produces heavy yields with resinous floral clusters that are very sticky and have a strong aroma.
