Congratulations, LostTribe, that pheno #2 looks just like my old original C99 grapefruit clone. It has gobs of resin, same shape buds, looks to yield about the same and, from some of your other posts, it sounds like it has a good Cindy high. Not exactly the same with the longer finishing time, moderate differences in taste/smell, etc., but sounds pretty similar to the original, which is more than I can say for what the other breeders are putting out.
It seems to me that one might still be able to find one even closer to the original in the Brothers Grimm re-release. Maybe instead of only needing to buy one pack for a great 45 day finisher, perhaps 2 or 3? I've got to think there are plants in the re-release that are spot on like the original pineapple and grapefruit phenos, even though the new male seemed to add traits that were not in the original.
After all, the phenos that were sought after in the original release were really just ones that most closely approximated Princess - and Princess was again the mom for the re-release.
Also, your plants look so happy - you are a really good grower

Heres the new Cinderella XX . Probably 4weeks old but plants were mainly vegged outside and the spring we are having isn't the greatest.
Lost tribe or starcrash do you see any resemblances or one in particular that was special? The one on bottom right has a very indicia look in veg and the ones in back seem more of the c99 I remember. Only time will tell . Got 16 Joey weeds and 10 Bruce banner by dark horse going , gonna make some killer crosses this year.

Hard to say without them beginning to bloom as they will change considerably at that point. However, your second pic the on in the back row middle and the back row to the right side look most like my favorites at this point. Please keep updating here if you are able and I will try to let you know more!

I just found the remnants of the C99#4 cutting that I was revegging. A bud that was cut and placed in an aero cloner until it rooted. So guess what further inspection of the super pungent material turned up???
7 Regular C99#4 x 5 C99 Male seeds!!!! Nice!!! Totally forgot about that bud! My other cuttings were taking forever to root but finally made it so I chopped the reveg cut....sucker did root after 3 weeks too.
This one smells and tasted legit ORIGINAL Cinderella sort of like a metal haze taste after proper dry and cure! Can't wait but don't have to bout to toke er up!

Good luck on the Brothers Grimm C99XX, Beanja. Please post on the progress of those beans - I'm excited to see how they turn out! I'm thinking they'll be great because the Brothers must have feminized their best C99s - no sifting through lessers in a pack of regular seeds. It can also give a clue to what is possible to find in the regular C99 seeds Brothers Grimm is producing. I miss my old clone

I have my C99#4 at 44 days nearly finished already this time in my hydro set up so its definitely looking better this time around.
This #4 is straight Pineapple Funk! Looks different this time around too much more original probably due to my lack of soil knowledge on the first run.
I have 1 clone also at 44 days which I was trying to reverse but it didnt want to show male sacks so I kept on spraying her for 3 weeks in. I sprayed too long as it pushed sacks at 4 days after I stopped spraying with CS.....so not sure I will end up with any seed as the sacks just opened up about a week ago but not seeing any flying pollen....its got tons of balls but the pistols are already mostly bright orange so not sure.....I did keep 1 cutting so might have to do a micro S1 run on it just so I can back her up....
If Soul used a girl like my #4 for those C99XX which he reversed to the Princess then I think those are probably going to end up a lot more stabile than the standard release. I got 50/50 pineapple/grapefruit from 4 girls from the standard beans. If I dont get to reverse the #4 I will definitely be grabbing a few packs of the XX for the vault.
Anyone else got any of the Bros Grimm Gear rocking right now?

I am satisfied Just hoping some pollen falls of the cut I reversed so I can collect and do a quick run on 1 clone to reverse before the grand Hiatus! Wish Me Luck!

I have a pack of cindy (reg) and apollo 13 (reg) lookin to get them ready for this fall . What is the height (avg) of the cindys?
The good ones will stretch but I got good sized buds all the way down the stems. Definitely Top them at the 5th or 6th nodes and veg until they are good size for your space. This run was nearly identical to the originals I grew around 2001.
She's down and drying I didnt have time for more photos but will try to get some dry shots on this girl! She's a Beauty! I had 2 Tropical and 2 grapefruit girls out of 2 packs. Not as stable pheno wise but I was glad to find this one so the GRAIL is in this release just might take a bit of hunting before you find her!
Still no pollen on the reversed cut so if I don't get any flying soon I may be out of luck for s1'ing her......thats a shame! I would keep her forever if I could after waiting over a decade trying and being let down time and time again. If I can't do the S1 I will have to stock up on some more packs both regular and the XX.
Soul was true to his word, Real C99 has returned.

not true to his word...it's 50 % only original C99 at best... that's all the new cindy is...it's not similar like the original.. the original was done in 50 days , not 63 > 70 days...FACT... the original had NO cat-piss terpenes ... the original was not PURPLE... .....the original smelled like an exotic bowl of tropical fruit... the new c99 is good weed...but 150$ for a pack is way too much...

Apparently you didnt find one like my #4.....
The 2 grapefruit were indeed different but 2/4 were excellent pineapple representations. I ran 2 packs. While I will agree that the overall production of the new C99 is much less stable compared to what we all ran in 2001, I believe this to be the best representation of C99 I have run since that era. The originals I really didnt find that many that I would consider grapefruit more hawaiian punch and pineapple scents. I only truly found grapefruit within the GNO3 and lesser following releases which Dutchgrown and Mosca I found to be the least quality of any even my own F2's were much better and more represented True Cinderella.

This "New" C99 produced 2/4 "Grailesque" plants which are true representations of the original release of P.94 Cinderella. Overall Growth, Branching, 4.5 week flop from heavy tops, same exact resin production and most importantly the best representation of original C99 smells and tastes(atleast from #1 and #4). Sure they may be much less stable with the higher ratio of grapefruit but my #4 is a Fantastic Specimen!
Should have saved some of the pollen off the 5 males but they just didnt produce as long as anticipated. I do have some f2's off the large yielding grapefruit girl which may end up becoming pollen donors to the #4. #1 was hit with Old-timer's Purple Haze to create Granny's Haze which I have a bro running outdoors in small latitudes for testing and hoping to have some pics of those before the holidays to share.
Dry Shots of the C99#4 will follow.....soon come!
