Interesting terpenes on that one - I'm looking forward to your thoughts on how she smokes.
Its been a while. I dont think I have any left. I had a friend that really liked its happiness. While not as strong nor clear as the Tom's mint, it does carry some of the potency of the Haze side, while the flowering time has come down in between the two lines to 11-12w. That THH mom I used to take to 19+weeks. The vigor comes thru from the haze side and the bud structure was helped out with the cindy genes. Large bracts and large medium density yeild.

The High for me while not as clear and long lasting a high as the THH this plant I feel has a somewhat stronger overall high and still lasts about 2 or 3 hours in effects for me with a nice easy come down at the end, that is why I named her Love You Long Time. Its effects are blissful happiness with a bit of motivation yet floaty at the same time.

Cheers!

Snow day, let trim jail begin! One of the C99f3
Well Well I must admit those are the fanciest trim shears I think I have ever seen! Happy Harvesting! Share some nug closeups when your done!?

Hey @Crazy Chester That Cinderella 99 f2 was looking nice and vigorous! Good Growing! I am interested to see what her morphology will show me and how she might compare. Keep us all posted.

True - those shears are badass!

I'll be happy to update here on the C99 #1 - and soon, C99 #2, who popped a tail and is ready to be planted.

If you have access to pure sativas that would be my suggestion. The Sativas are mostly herbal carroty and rooty spicy smells when growing. The TRSC will probably give you skunkish like smells vs tropical fruit. I honestly do not think they are even 50% c99.
I grew a small pack summer 2023 (6 seeds). Got 3 girls and they were consistent with kwikseeds description except indeed the smell/aromas. None were fruity, all earthy funk.

Some dried bud from C99f4
Nice harvest! I had a pheno that used to finish early like that - I used to take her at 45 days. I didn't notice much difference letting her go a week more to 52 days - maybe a tiny bit of weight would be put on, but the buzz and terps were identical and at day 53 she'd start making ambers. I miss those quick flowering plants with a sativa buzz.

Yeah those pics were from one of the f4. All 3 plants were starting to amber so day 46 it was.

I'll be spreading these genes around for anyone who is going to use them to combine with their genetics (and share them) as part of a long-term preservation effort (clones first - then seeds).

I've been thinking a lot lately about what my goals for the C99 F2s are. When I was given the seeds by country boy, he expressed his desire that the genetics be freely shared with others.

So I envision plentiful easy to acquire C99 seeds that are as close as possible to the quality of the original seeds to ensure C99 seeds that have a keeper in every pack or two are available indefinitely into the future.

That's probably going to take a fair amount of collaboration with other people working the country boy C99 genetics into their own C99 genetics and seeing how they grow.

I have high hopes for the plants that country boy's seeds produce - it would be great if it turns out easy, which would be I find parent plants in these seeds to produce C99 F3s that pop plants that turn out close to how the original one did. But - it may not be that easy.

Specifically, I'd want to see pineapple, grapefruit and fruit punch phenos pop out of no more than a 20 pack or so.

LostTribe's work on the fruit punch pheno should be in there. GRoot's grapefruit terps and early flowering genes should be in there. Dime also has a line of seeds descendant from the original that should be in there. And, there's a host of others I forgot who have genetics that should be in there too.

If you are down with the goal and have C99 genetics that you think would mix well in there - give a head's up.

Hopefully, I can add in a consistent pineapple pheno to the mix with country boy's seeds (or, someone else who got some of these C99 F2s from country boy).

I also envision targeted work that results in seeds that are known to put out a particular pheno that predominates over the others, so that if one wanted to find, say a pineapple pheno, they'd be able to do so popping less seeds then they'd otherwise have to pop growing seeds that have all the combined genetics in there.

Im popping the C99 fruitpunch f6's i received from @LostTribe now that i have time for them and the space. Now ive come back to the thread to look at all the data recorded by everyone to get an idea of what im in for. Ill be searching through and asking some questions on some things probably (especially you @LostTribe lmao).

Excellent - I wish you a great grow with those seeds.

I'll keep popping over here and will eventually have some males and females who may want to date those LostTribe F6 plants!
