Cinderella 99 The Come Back

Grew Joey Weeds F-2 C-99, Apollo 11 and the C-99 x Apollo 11 cross. Mid 2000's.

Over time tried other stuff but wanted that unbelievable awesome Cindy HIGH again. Tried the Beanhoarder mixes, The Joey Weed comeback C-99, Bros Grimm comeback, Peak Seeds and some other supposedly C-99 F-5s.

ALL TOTAL GARBAGE and COMPLETE waste of money and years of time. I do not believe the Joey Weed C-99 on Hemp Depot is legit and that Bros Grimm might be pulling a sham. PEAKS was the closest but still lacking in original potency.

Got pics of any of those? The peaks had the same potency.

Sorry, pictures was not a option at the time. I get it and did think PEAKS was great but not the old school. Wish I could of bought more seeds and pheno hunted before MJ stopped selling seeds. His Sweet Skunk if you could control her was a giant and a LIFTOFF when smoked. A favorite.

Just got some bad news. Still trying to process it honestly. RIP Secret Princess....

Getting deja vu from a dream long ago of something that happend to a very important cindy because I hand't kept or shared two. Back to the drawing board....

Put a few more of the remaining x peak f5 (wasnt my f6 after all on the label) to germ for a total of 7 and a handful of the Secret Princess x LYLT(Thh x c99 f5).

Thats a full boat for my seed testing for some time along with the Jamaican, Thai and Peruvians I just put to germ.

4 ECSD x c99 have surfaced
3 Real Sour x c99 have surfaced
Good luck with your testing, with those genetics you will find some wonderful females, no doubt. Do you have a grow log of the SDx C99 Real Sour x C99? I 'd like to see them grow and flower

Regs unsexed. Would like to see if I can find something that has not been overrun with the male side of the line bred cindy but my observations over the years normally lead to the same conclusion. My hypothesis is that possibly the line would need to be bred back using the same recessive male in order to find the sweet achieve more dominance due to the fact the original breeding used a limited amount of inputs 1:3 vs something where you might have tow f1's at a 1:1 and 1:1 pairing... I had a strawnana 99 that was close to the nana side. If I find a dieselly galadriel it would be rare I believe. Cindy has been proven quite dominant in the hybrids over many years when used as the male and this usually gives off grapefruit pheno's. I think I have some f6 punch male pollen can't recall.

You can see why I like to sprout in perlite with the amount of growth doubling in size in 4 days. Just put a little fan on them and once stems harden off and start shedding a bit I may transplant them. Debating drain to waste hydro media other than coco that holds less moisture but more than hydroton. I had thought about dripping on promix as well.

I germ'd in tp lightly sprinkled with luke warm water in tupperware wrapped in 1 layer hand towel and set on a heat mat at 82F. Once they open and shed seed husks or are close to it I remove them and place gently into pre rinsed and watered 100% perlite. Under a dome until they are an inch above grade. Voila.

They are getting bigger now and the JP Galadriel looks very much like the JP. The Chaco looks a bit more mix of sour cindy IMHO but they are just getting 5 leaflet sets. I'll post up pics soon.

What are you running this fine Fall season @Desert Dan ? Wish you well! LT

Anybody have a repro of kingdom organic seeds c99? It’s sold out on the website…I’d imagine it’s not gone for good but I’ve tried emailing the dude and haven’t heard back. I really want that rotten meat pheno.

I was given a very unusual C99 from Joey Weed F2 line many years ago. A guy in Scotland ran the pack and found a Cherry and menthol terp profile. The smoke in air smelled like hazy incense/musk but the cherry and menthol was full mouth on the intake.
Wasn’t very strong by todays standards. Daytime smoke to take the edge off boredom but the main motivation to keep it was the flavour and smell.
If I could find that cut again, I’d hang on to her and maybe introduce her to one of my Neville’s Haze males. A really fast Neville’s cross sound good.

No repro...yet.

I don't know if K.O.S. will be offering them in the future or not. I too, have noticed K.O.S. is out of c99 and so is James Bean seeds where K.O.S seeds have been sold for years. I've got a pack plus stored in freezer.

I've run K.O.S. original Bros. Grimm C99 F4 several times over the last few years and always intended to do a personal stash seed increase. I'm not familiar with the rotten meat pheno, but there is one called the "fig smelling" pheno, which some people might call rotten meat. It grows well, good effects, finishes under 60 days, bag appeal etc.

I have 3 small female testers in flower now (kept clones) and several others (8?) vegging in 1 gallon containers that should sex soon. Hoping to get at least one decent male and a couple of different pheno females. The lucky boy(s), if found will get to pollinate every decent girl.

If no decent male(s), but a good female or two show up, I'm strongly considering making some fems. I'm also likely to make a few crosses to try outdoors.

If this goes well, I'd estimate by Feb 2025 I might have a few spare seeds.
