Went to my doctor for some Cialis. He asked about heart conditions and of course heart medications (many of which interact) and then was quick to give samples and write a script.
I informed him that I smoked cannabis regularly and asked if that was ok. He informed me that he is unaware contraindications with any medication and cannabis. Good to go.
In any case, I thought nothing more of it. Popped a Cialis that night all was well.
A few weeks later, I popped another Cialis. About two hours in, I was feeling the effects
I decided it was a good time to smoke a bowl.
HOLY WOW!
I was unbelievably blasted, giggling like the early days of smoking cartel schwag in Texas with no tolerance. This felt like no tolerance, and I'm used to smoking 1-3 grams a day.
I knew it wasn't the weed (smoked it before). Putting it together, I assumed that the Cialis had some kind of effect.
I looked online but was having to sort through countless posts and questions about the safety of the two together, but never anything else.
To take a shot in the dark here... Cialis does not affect cb1/cb2 receptors. It does not compete on metabolic pathways with cannabinoids.
Looking at how Cialis works, it's a vasodilator that increases blood flow. I'm assuming that this increased blood flow reaches dilated veins and arteries in the brain, providing for a greater volume of blood (and as a result, THC or other psychoactives). This could account for THC being more rapidly absorbed by the brain in a shorter amount of time.
Maybe it's just me, but the effects are profound and I love the combo.
Anyone else?
