yes indeed, there are newspaper articles that can be called up about major corporations getting a slap on the wrist for being involved in this kind of stuff. as you said people would be shocked if they knew the scale of this evil and who's all involved at the top.

but don't fall for thinking it's about conservatives, labor, liberal, democrat, republican etc. those are just labels that have so little meaning anymore that it's not worth worrying about. they all have people involved in this stuff. in many elite circles you will not climb the ladder if you don't participate in their evil. as they always want to be able to blackmail you into staying in line with their agenda and keeping their secrets.
