Good luck with your new run!

Very interesting your test of the AC Infinite gear 👍🏼
Will be following along to see how it goes. 🍿

I'm also have two new seeds sprouting now. Hoping that will work at these temps 😬🥶
I've put the 11 l fabric pots on the radiator.

I've used heater cables before, they're quite good. Waterproof too, so you can drape them around pots or put on the floor and put pots on top. They get warm, not hot and only draw a couple watts.

As I needed to travel today to visit family, I have put the plugs with the (un)sprouted seeds in 1L pots of light mix and blumatised them as i could not wait longer for the seeds to sprout. The Aladdin's Skunk has also germinated but the two Afghan Lemon are still underground. A bit stupid and obviously lack of proper planning on my side but I also set the blumats and left without waiting for a dry/wet cycle first.
Not the first time i had to do this and if there's no other way and I have to do it I put only as much water into the reservoir as the catch tray at the bottom of the tent can hold so even if everything goes wrong no water will be leaking anywhere.

Made some rosing from the California Indica... 6g of weed in a 3 ton press (definitely didn't max out the press!) at 80C and a 72micron bag gave me a nice 1g chunk of rosin.
Happy holidays all and I hope you're smoking good!!

Fingers crossed ;)

Some pics from when I had to leave
As I said some seeds had sprouted, others were still closed at this point
I use Great White to inoculate with mycorrhizae already as seedlings and these are the small pots the
plugs went into

Hey Chevy!

Congrats to the 5 plants out of 4 seeds 😅

Really diggin what you are doing.
Regarding grow style we really could be twins 😁✌️

What I said earlier about the three markings, in satured soil close a further three markings from last drop clinging is a very good estimate for the right amount of humidity in your soil, so it will work no doubt, but some plants are different and like it more wet/dry, you can easily adjust the blumats for that.
Btw you already adjusted the way you set up your blumats:

You are told to close them only two markings.

But I also close them three markings.
You need that to compensate using small pots, since the dripping hose has to be shorter - which brings the sensor "carrot" closer to the dripping water 😉

Hey Zivi!
You're right, I could have sworn three markings was the official figure but probably just bad memory replaced with what works best from experience hahaha.
In the meantime I have installed the humidifier and the hose but still wrestling with the programming of the controller. I can already say it's a bit lame that you can't seem to really automate VPD but merely set trigger values that can give you the desired VPD.
But still figuring that out I could be wrong,..

I'm sorry I can't really help you out since my T4 is running in Auto Mode and the only other thing connected to my 69pro controller is the cloudray fan, which has not been in use yet.

I think auto mode is what you need to be in for the controller to do its work.
I've by now figured out most of the modes and how to set values and I have to say the controller holds them nicely.
I had to separate how things run out a bit, so the fan only takes care of too high temperatures and the humidifier only deals with humidity although running any of the two will also affect the other parameters (humidifier/ temperature and fan/ humidity).
Since you can only set trigger values I've only set the ones needed in my environment.
It's warm and dry (it's my apartment after all) so I don't have to deal with too high humidity or too low temps and therefore only use one trigger value per device. The humidifier kicks on when rh dips below 60% and the fan only increases rpm from constant base rpm when the temps rise above 28C.

The little seedling compartment is now complete.
The photo doesn't show it very well... over the light there's the humidifier exhaust tube but you can actally see the fog coming out. in the right corner I've installed an oscillating fan that blows over the seedlings at minimum

The amount of wiring for this small tent is really getting out of hand. I need to clean this up but I fear it will still be a lot
DSC00003.JPG

Here's a shot of the humidifier and where it's placed. The board also holds a small oil radiator in case I need more warmth
DSC00005.JPG

The humidifier runs nicely and uses very little water as I've set it to not exceed level 1 of 10.
The hose works quite well and by having the vast majortity of its length only going upward I avoid too much condensate dripping out the exhaust. The rest of the condensate runs back down the hose into the reservoir of the humidifier.

More soon, Take care

Thank you Hasch!
It'll get more interesting once I can put the small plants into the main 60X60 chamber under the bigger light.
I'm thinking I'll need to do that pretty soon for the Oaxacan X A5 Haze for it not to take up the entire tent in a few weeks.
Still need to mix the soil which I will do first thing in the new year if all goes well.
4x 25L pots that's a solid 100L of soil in the main compartment. Glad I mounted some extra wheels to spread the load out better. Never had that much in there but absolutely necessary for living soil I'd say. Less works ok too, but more soil just works better ;)
I also have one giant 75L pot that I might use sometime next year. Like a bed of soil and then maybe even try no-till.

Quick update, still not much happening but I moved the little ones downstairs to what is the veg compartment as the light upstairs is not much (20w flourescent tube).
A bit more ceiling height and more light, that's it.
I've added an 18w heating mat for some extra warmth while they're tiny.
The controller and humidifier work nicely, keeping temps at around 24C and VPD around 0.5-0.7
It always fluctuates a bit as the controller works on trigger points as I already said but it keeps the leaves from shutting down with the super low rh of around 30% here right now.
DSC00002.JPG

The Oaxacan X A5 Haze is developing nicely with the others a bit behind, probably because of the low temps up until now.
It took a bit of a beating during the move but I'm sure it'll recover swiftly.
Mixing soil next

Oh dear, while working around the seedlings I accidentally killed the freebie Alladin's Kush seedling...
Crushed the little stem and it went limp not recovering.
To replace it I've put two California Indica (Sensi) in water as well as I'm sprouting 4 of the Seychellois bagseeds.
I'm looking for some females in these 4 seeds and will grow the parallel to the other plants, but in the veg department as soon as the others have moved to the flower compartment

Sounds intriguing!

Can you tell us more?
Of course Señor Hasch!
I was lucky enough to be able to travel to the Seychelles a while back to go sailing on a Friend's sailboat.
I also know another guy there on the main island of Mahé who made a connection to get some local weed in my hands.
It was a locally grown pure sativa that was fully seeded and it looked like hedge clippings hahahaha. Picture brick weed without the compression. Brownish green, delivered in a piece of newspaper. airy, whispy buds layered with super thin leaves. I wondered how the actual plant would look like so decided to take the seeds home with me.
Weed is common and available on Mahé but was definitely not cheap and there are repercussions, especially for tourists. 10% of the local population are said to be on heroin and no idea what's going on with that.
Anyways my friends and I liked the mildly energising effects of it (the weed not the heroin) and i made everyone clean the weed and give me the seeds to bring them back with me upon return.
As I said I want to grow out a few plants to see how they look, how they'll do indoors and to give my friends a little trip down memory lane once it's finished.

Very neat little setup Chevy, I will be happy to join the observes for this round : )

And you replaced Kush with another "kush", looking forward to see some dark and leathery kushy leaves soon!
Yeees Piecho, always have to have variety in the cupboard ;-)
I've got jars of Panama Haze, Thai X Panama, Kendal Green which are all sativas so to balance it's nice to have some broad leaf drug plants in there as well.
I have already harvested one round of California Indica but had the fucking root aphids visiting, so hopefully this time they'll be able to flower out nicely and in peace.
Next up will be the Afghan Lemons though that are currently still seedlings
