This bud looks very nice. Lots of red hairs and crystals.
It smells almost citrus like, not like cherry to me.
I broke this nice tight nug apart and smoked it in a glass piece of mine.
The bud left my fingers all sticky. MMMM...

My buddy smoked it with me and we agree on this, not really a cherry flavor to this. I say it tastes of mango lemon maybe and he thought it was a citrus taste too.
We each hit the pipe for 4 tokes each. After first 2 hits, I began to feel it...
it crept up on me for the next 1/2 hour. Very heady high. I was also anxious, kept walking around like I had to be somewhere, lol. After 1/2 an hour, I was hit full force with the high bam! I was very stoned, and I rode the stone out floating along for the next hour and a half... 2 hours not bad. I will smoke a little less next time. I really liked the taste and the high. I giggled a little early on also. Very nice smoke. I didn't feel any massive expansion in my lungs when I toked but it did expand a little. I think this will make great joint weed, can't wait to try that.

I will follow up with P2 after I get it tested.

OK Folks! First things first ,,,

Alllllrighty then! It's smoke report time for these Amazing CBII's! First i must point out, that I got a new bong to smoke this out of,,well not JUST for this, but my other bootiful bong broke Out with the old in with New 'eh! When the package arrived I was sooo excited to see what was inside!! All manner of purdee smelly stuff to cover the Other purdee smellin stuff inside!


Got some VERY NICE gifted beans as well,, the pic doesn't show um too well so here they are :

Apperance: 9
The first look at this bud put a BIG OL GRIN like this on my face! Very light green, laden with tric's standing at full attention still with their little heads still on,, good to see after shippin'! Very light orangish/red hairs,, and sparkles all over.

Smell 8
At first wiff, there is a sharp green bud, that almosty minty scent,, very appealing to the nostrils Not a cherry scent though, to me it's more of a suddal(sp ,,sry i'm backed ) citrusy pungent lemon scent. After airing a bit it loses a lot of that though.

Taste7
Taste was a bit milder then expected. VERY smooth for such a short cure though!Slight dank after taste,, still no cherry. Leaves a fuzzy feeling in your mouth after hitting. Smooth, but don't under estimate it! It'll choke ya with a little bigger hit.

High9

This was an Awesome high! We rolled up one of these....
and loved it! First big hit'l make ya sweat for sure. It's several highs in one, very cool. First it's HEADY and fuzzy, tingly eyes,, get's ya grinnin'. Then goes real Upity, makes ya talkative. Then back to a heady body high.... Hubby described it as the feelin you get right B4 you start fryin' on some good LSD. Perma-grin sets in, ya get a real euphoric happy feeling.
Does make ya a little spacey due to these effects though LMAO! I lost my pen in mid report,and we stalled at half the doob took us about 10 mins then sparked her back up,an enjoied the ride my buddy ended up leavin his cell phone and had to come back and get it too more of the spaceyness

Overall I'd say this is GREATsmoke! Looks yummy, smells great, and the high is over the Top the way it changes! Definately something I'd buy at a club (for too high a price ) or have a mom of if possible.

Way to Grow Hydro!!!!

Darker overall appearance then P1. More crystaly too i think. Light to dark orange hairs.Very pretty buds.

Dankest smell I've had the pleasure of smellin' in a long time.Hard to describe though.Like a fruit that's fallen,,persimons maybe,,fermenting sweetness. Skunky undertones when given a little sqeeze. slight sharp citrus scent when ya first open the container,, though the dankness quickly over powers that.

Taste7 (With longer cure this could be a 8-9 i think)
Very sticky fingers from packin' hit's. Awesome smoke, tastes a little earthy from being so dank, almost taste the leafy taste still.. mayneed longer cure then the P1 do to this fact. drool comes quick on the hit though. no cherry taste,, i was hoping one i'd taste it,, but alas no. lol, not that there's anything Wrong with that.


High8
You'll feel this Imediately, very heady and strong. More of a couch lock high then P1,,, not a spacey high though. One of those buds to break out with a bunch of old friends to chill and reminis ol times.

Overall this is a wonderful body/head high. With a good month+ cure on it would definately only improve the taste and high. I smoke a lot so I could handle this kinda smoke all day, though a person who smoke on occasion might get couchlocked and pass out if they weren't careful! These CBII's are something I'd pay for, and that in it's self is a Big A+ . Wonderful growing OH!! :wink:

Beautiful on first sight. Dark & light buds, Dark orangish-to Red hairs. Crystals aren't to appairent but this is cured 5+ months,, They are DEFINATELY there though,, it sparles for ya father into a bud or when ya bust one open.

Smell10
When I first cracked the container open it smelled like Pineapple coated in sugar. Soooo sweet and tart at the same time. Has a lemony(slight piney maybe) /citrusy smell upon sqeeze. very intoxicating scent! I love it!

Taste9
Smooth yet chokey and expansive. Has earthy/ citrus undertones on exhale.

High9
Hits you quick like that's for dam sure. Very heady high,, gives ya that cottonheadband/tingly sensation over your eyes. Took a one hitter bong hit( well took me two to finish it ) this morning and still goin strong so far! Still heady feelin after 2 1/2 hrs.... impresive to say the least. I could work on this kinda "Kind" too, though the less experienced smoker might not be able to.

Overall this is an A+ smoke for sure! I'll have to look into the growth habits and such of this plant,, see if i like it even more :wink: If this is a good yeilder then I reccomend it to Anyone lookin for an allday high.

I have been waiting to get in some of the comments of the other folks who are sampling OH's kind offerings and I have struggled with my digital camera to get pics that accurately represent this fine herb.

I had been "eyeing" Reeferman's Cherry Bomb ll for some time before seeing OH's grow of this strain. Knowing that one of the original parents of this cross was an original landrace, cherry pheno Maui Wowie. This cross just had to be rockin' from the description alone!

We have obtained Cherry Bomb from several sources, the original being from California and most recently we obtained Cherry Bomb from Mr. Greengenes, and his 100% Sativa Cherry Bomb meets the predominantly indica Cherry Bomb from California to create the ultimate Cherry explosion like an orgasm in a rolling paper. Soaring high, sativa dominant buzz, full on Cherry Candy flavor and smell and a respectable yield make this cherry bomb the best ever. High yield.

Needless to say, I was delighted to see OH's grow thread go online! As this thread has shown, the CBll is a vigorous, high yielding strain that OH did a magnificent job bringing to harvest! Again, I would like to thank Organic Hydro for including me in evalutating his wonderful herb. The packing was totally steath and such a nice presentation. In the package I received a lovely candle set, potpourii, other craft oriented goodies and the biggest damn pack of papers I have ever seen!



Cleaverly hid inside a container I found this bonus gift. A package of Soma's Rock Bud (A+) and a package of Snow White!



Now, on to the stars of this show . . . the Cherry Bomb ll Buds themselves!

Cherry Bomb ll - Pheno 1

Without ruining the suspense of this smoke report, I have to say right up front that the CBll Pheno one is my favorite of the two phenotypes that OH ended up with. The appearance of these buds is that of a medium to lime green color with a plethera of rusty colored, orange/brown pistils that are densely packed into the bud. While I have seen denser bud structure, this is NOT a whispy or airy bud at all! Nice firm texture created by stacked calyxes that are a dream to break of whole for a great bong hit.



The trichome production of this strain is unreal as these buds shimmer under the flash of my trusty camera, as you can see for yourself. Please excuse my lack of talent in the macro department. My camera just isn't capable of a good macro so I have to use a 10x magnifying glass in front of the camera. Sorry it sucks so bad.



When you open the container of this pheno, you are overwhelmed with a pungent, fruity smell that fills your immediate area. It's a very fresh, sweet, fruity odor that has a hint of melon as it lingers. I agree with the other testers that this scent doesn't remind my of cherries as it is purported to be but it's a fabulous citrusy/melon odor that is just delish!

The taste is just as fresh as the scent! It is a very smooth toke on the intake and leaves the fruity flavor coating your tongue and it has an almost "perfumy" quality to the smoke. On the exhale is takes on a bit of a hashy-like flavor that takes on a more complex level of flavors that taste somewhat "darker" or more "aged" some how (if that makes any sense). Not to bad of an expansion with this pheno so I wasn't hacking up a lung. I believe this has more to do with the clean flush of the herb and good (albeit short) cure.

Now as for the high, I have to proclaim right up front that I may not be the best to evaluate it's potency relative to a lot of other strains out there. Compared to many, many people on ICMag, I am a relatively light smoker. I usually smoke most everyday but it is usually at night and only a few bongs at most at a time. I find my tolerance relatively low to most quality weeds. Schwag is another story. I even have some standards!!

Anyway, my first reaction to the smoke was virtually immediate. The high is very cerebral in the onset and has an unusual clarity to the high. Upon a second bowl I felt it really kick into gear! While you can tell you are rushing, it is not jittery or uncomfortable at all. In fact, just the opposite is true. It is such a smooth high that one might not think it's that potent because it's not an "IN YOUR FACE" indica type of high. It's clear that the sativa genetics are predominant here but be quite rest assured that you are FLYING HIGH AGAIN!! (A cheap Ozzy reference ) After a good 45 minute peak you settle into the ultimate "cruise control". Matters of the day are all but a long forgotten memory by this time. Finally, it's such an easy let down that you are able to go right back and do it all over again!

Final Observations:

The Cherry Bomb ll - Pheno 1 is the absolute BOMB! It has to be one of the top two sativas I've ever had the pleasure of trying. The other being a true Kali Mist. It's all that one would ever expect from a top bred sativa with Hawiian genes.

Cherry Bomb ll - Pheno 2

While this pheno looks very similar to the Pheno 1, it appears to me as if there isn't quite as much pistil density in the buds and the pistils appear to be a brighter orange color. The buds also look a bit more "airy" and open in structure but not significantly so.



This pheno, while still fairly trich layden, doesn't appear to be quite as frosty as Pheno 1. It could be just my imagination. Here's a couple of close-ups which shows the more orangy pistils.



The aroma of this pheno is darker and more complex than Pheno 1. When you open the container, you are first greeted with a strong, astringent smell that has the same fruity scent as Pheno 1 but it is underlying the astringent quality. As a result of this astringent characteristic the sweetness is somewhat overpowered but it's still there.

The flavor on the toke is quite a bit more complex too as the astringent quality comes through in the flavor and almost made my tongue feel like I had just had a bit of novacane shot into it! On the exhale it reminded me more of Pheno 1 as, again, it had a hash-type quality to the flavor. Just like it's sister this is a very smooth toke with mild expansion qualities. Just a joy to huff on.

Pheno 2 has more of a "creeper" buzz to it. It takes a few minutes to come on but, BOY, does it come on!! This high has more "body" to it. Almost a sedative quality compared to Pheno 1 as I think more of the indica side of the genetics are being expressed here. Another quality this Pheno has is this is truly "two toke" weed (at least for me it is! I know, I know . . . I'm a light weight I guess ). However, I can't imagine even the most heady of tokers could handle more than 6 or 7 bowls of this stuff before saying "UNCLE"!

Final Observations:

This pheno is extremely potent and big fans of the "In Your Face" indica type of high will love this one! Great sedative affect and I would think it would be a great medicinal herb. Certainly has it's place in anyone's garden. As I stated before, my preference is for the Pheno 1's more cerebral, heady high. But, then again, I've always been a sativa man!!

Extra Bonus Bud!! Mazar - 5 Month Cure!!

Thanks to the kind generosity of our wonderful host, Organic Hydro, we testers were treated to some truly sensual herb. If the Cherry Bomb ll were a sweet, pure virgin - the Mazar would be the "town slut". She'll ride ya hard and hang you up wet!! But she'll do it with a kiss in the end!!

One look at this herb and you know you have something really, really special! This beautiful tri-color bud just shimmers like the mountain snow on crisp Colorado morning! Hues of dark forest green intermingle with a lighter shade of sea-foam green and darkly pronounced pistils that are densely clustered making this chunk nug nice and tight!



The scent of the Mazar is strong and uncanningly familiar. It took me a while to put my finger on it but it finally came to me. It smell like my Daughter's "pissy" diapers when she was a baby . . . but in a good way!! (Wow, was that ever an Oxy-Moron!! ) Along with this ammonia, piss smell there is a nutty, coffee like quality to the aroma making this one a different and intriguing odor.

We have another complex flavor that is one RIP ASS LUNG TUGGIN' SMOKE! I mean the expansion on one hit of this stuff ranks among the strongest "kickers" that I have ever had. You think she's gonna be kind on the intake as you can taste an almost "incense-like" quality to the smoke and then . . . WWHHAAAMMM!!

You are hacking your brains out of your left ear!! The exhale brings back the "pissy", ammonia quality of the bud scent. While I know the description sounds disgusting, it is really a very nice affect! The five month cure is evident in both the smell but especially the flavor. This is a full-bodied toke that leaves a thick flavor on the pallette. Almost like eating a finely cooked steak. Just another fine expression of the vast variety of flavors available to us now. A HUGE THUMBS UP ON THIS ONE, OH!!

The high is a well rounded blend of head and body. I find it to be more of a "serious" high. A good weed to get focused on belated tasks around the house. Even though there is a 50/50 blend of head and body to the high, it is energetic enough to handle the task at hand. I could really see smoking this weed and relaxing in a hot tub. They would have to pour you out of it!!

Final Observations:

The Mazar is most definitely connessuir herb. A unique flavor and high that I have not had the opportunity to experience before this test. My heart felt thanks to you, Organic Hydro, my brotha! Even with it's very different qualities, I would have to say that the Cherry Bomb ll Pheno 1 is still my favorite here! But not by much!!

Overall Comments:

This test has been the most fun I've had on ICMag but not just for the obvious reasons!! Because of Rule35Sub1 and his kind comments to Organic Hydro, I was able to participate and, more importantly, make a new friend in Organic Hydro. My friend, you are a genuinely generous and open hearted person that I feel honored to know. Your skills in your garden are only surpassed by the kindness you show to your fellow person. This has been my honor, my brotha . . . Thank you!

As for the other people who tested the three wonderful strains/phenos, let me just put them in a random and more condensed order. Some of these were hilarious!!

Friend #1 - Remodeling Contractor - Mid 30's - Married w/kids

Friend #1 stopped by to pick up a bud to take home and I gave him a bong hit off all three herbs. After hacking up his lungs on the Mazar he made his way through the smooth Cherry Bombs. He reached to give me his card with his business number and I asked him to write his home phone number down. This small task took him some twenty minutes to remember!! For the life of him he couldn't pull it together to remember! Guess you had to be there.

Friend #2 & #3- Lead Guitarist in my band and his brother our bass player- Mid 40's - 80's Stoner Crowd

We smoked all three herbs at band practice at which we were trying to record. Without getting bogged down in details, I had to read the owner's manual to operate our new eight track recorder. Anyhow, what took me less than 45 seconds to read and do the next day (straight) took me over 15 MINUTES!! This stuff reduced us to mental midgets that thought they were just "kickin' ass" on several takes only to find out that it COMPLETELY SUCKED when we played it back!!

TheY found the high almost over-whelming to them. They felt they got too stoned to play right but did thoroughly enjoy it. These herbs are significantly more potent than the street schwag that they are used to. It's a whole other step that they haven't quite gotten their arms around yet. ROFLMAO

To anyone who is considering any of these or all of these strains and are trying to decide on which one to pick, you cannot go wrong with any of them. Ease of growth of the Cherry Bomb ll is almost asking too much from a strain with such a fabulous yield and high. It's almost too good to be true!!

In closing, suffice it to say that Reeferman's Cherry Bomb ll is on my to-do list ASAP! Along with several other Reeferman genetics. After having grown Reeferman's Blue Thunder myself, I can attest to the fact that RM's genetics are among the best in the world!!
