Cherry Pie Info Needed

ive had the clone for a couple years now. if you still want info.

Have you had any issues with nanners or hermies in Cherry Pie? I just took a full tray of cuts and was mortified when I researched it and found that it easily morphs. This will be an indoor run 4kw, co2, soil. I'd be interested in any tips you have on it. Heavy feeder? etc. Thanks for your time.

Obviously I posted before getting to the end of the thread. Let me revise question. Have you had hermies indoors from the pie? I can't say that I will be able to grow this zero stress as it is a new room, and running verts new to me. Sure there will be moments of stress. I could bag it and grow another more stable strain first. Thoughts?

Cherry Pie is touchy indoors. Too much pk or too much larf & she will throw balls. Go easy with her & she is pure fire. Lots of light, keep the medium dryish & prune lowers. Not really a great vert candidate, IMO, & if it's your first run with this setup/style, consider running something else. Even done right, she's not a great yielder.

Wow that's depressing lol, well I can't thank you enough for the tip. I will pull 3/4s of the starts I just took out of their cubes and replace them with Afghan Bullrider, supposed to be easy to grow and fast, hopefully do ok in vert. I will run one pie in there though just to see if I should keep the genetics. No wonder those clones were free lol.

Do you by chance have a strain or two that you'd recommend for vert in dirt? Likely will get stressed till I get the hang of the strain.

On second thought will run that pie in the scrog room, probably two of them to see. Flavor sounds exotic, would be nice to have some.

I wrote down what you said and pinned it to my wall so as not to forget once she gets going.

Thanks again.

sour diesel and gorilla glue seem to do well in vert. blue dream and jack herer too. OG can do well if you have the right cut

cherry pie seems like it is easiest to grow indoors in a sea-of-green style horizontal grow with high plant number.

Thanks everyone, I got rid of it and ordered some new packs of Bodhi, fresh legs will be nice. Wish that Pie were stable. I did hang onto 5 cuts that are rooting and may yet toss one outside this Summer. I have already stressed it though, and pretty sure those cuts were off the lower part of the plant in veg. The donor Mom was under 1kw though the whole time I had her. Given the choice of a fresh Bodhi or a tired unknown Cherry Pie, leaning away from Pie. I wish Bodhi had a Cherry Pie. Wonder what that x with Ancient OG would be like? Or the Love Triangle as AOG beans are impossible to find. Thanks to your thread Schrews. lol I'm hoping Love Triangle has something similar hiding inside or AOG drops again soon.

bodhi has some cherry pie crosses that he is working on or has recently released

the closest thing to Ancient OG for me was the Sky Lotus. might try the Goji OG too . Love triange is good but not as dense buds
