Cherry Pie Info Needed

Hello all! Im just wondering how well the pie does outdoors. How well does it yield. How early, late does it come down. Anything will help.

From what I've been told is does pretty well outdoors and has a good mold resistance, maybe some others can fill in with more info for you that have some experience growing it outdoors, I know there's a thread around here with info on all the strains people are running outdoors this year and there's some info on the cherry pie in there, hope this helps
Good luck

The Cherry Pie was bred outdoors. It comes out nice and greasy with silver/platinum colored trichomes. I've never grown it but a friend of mine claims to be one of the original breeder.

Any word on when the cherry pie finishes outside?

She seems fast inside but I know that doesn't always translate into an early finishing outdoor strain which is what I am looking for.

Finishes fast outside. Depends on where you grow and if it's full light. Where I put it in my yard it's not full light so it's done by beginning of October

is cherry pie some OG hybrid?

Pie is gdp x f1 durban. It smells and tastes strong, leaning toward gdp. But like a sweet floral perfume gdp. It grows tall like it's sister girls scout cookies. Remember durban is pure sativa. Medium yield at best but quality is top notch, indoor and out. One of the few strains that your outdoor competes with indoor quality wise with little to no extra effort

it finishes early outside, it is a short stout plant..seed form is preferred for outdoor. in my area the caterpillars ate the cherry first (those Fuckers)...Super purple almost black

^this is a good description

the caterpillars seemed to really like our Cherry Pie last year too, found way more than any other plants.

Pulled them October 31, Halloween. They smelled good enough to pull early September

pie (just like GSC) are known to pop seeds from time to time. they have some hermi tendencies in their genetics.. doesn't usually indoors, but outdoors you can find a few. not always though. part of the reason I love running all my strains outdoor at least once is that's where i usually find my seeds at :)
