thanks kief. i think if i could water more often they might even do better. it has been so freakin hot this week it was drying the top of the pots out. i hope when i get more cover and turn the lower branches back and over the pot it helps them out

Always get jealous watching you southern growers your so much further ahead than me. I just had what I hope is the last frost.

It's was so fucking hot today we need a break every now and than.
Hey flboy you ever grow ice bomb ? I was looking at that today.
I grew THC bomb auto I fucked that grow all up I admit it.

never have grown the ice bomb or the thc auto. you know i have the killer purps but never have grown them yet. i am going to mix up my last 130 gallon of soil for the 30 g pots. i think these will be for my pollen chuckin and my f2's just not sure what to put in them for a few crosses

i am going to let the bottoms grow out some then pinch and direct them over the pot's at least that is the plan. i will start this next visit.

i agree it will for sure help with the pot not drying so fast on me and help camo them to. i will pinch and bend all the branches as time goes on. i have broke a few tops already being to aggressive on the younger shoot's but all will be done. i want to open up the centers a bit for the sun to get to them and help keep from needing to clean up the bottoms as much (popcorn)

I learned that lesson the hard way, breaking branches that is. I learned a method that works pretty well. You take the branch you wanna LST. The super rigid ones. Then gently pull and bend, and kind of bounch it down. Push up and down. Do that gently several times, and the stiff branch will bend right down to where you want it without breaking. Kinda like trying to make something fit into a spot it doesn't quite wanna fit into. Even the stiffest of plants can be LST'd that way.

i just got back from the plot. i went ahead and pulled them down but didn't pinch yhe stem yet. all went well. i will post pix a little later.

flboy, got dam man you know how to get it done. The Cherry Bombs like the tropical weather and the big pots, looks like you could have some giants on your hands. Love the self-topping purple diesel and the long sour fingers showing on those leaf sets. About those extra pots, you'd most likely find a bad ass diesel dom male in those purple diesel f2s

as far as yield no guess at this point. i have 3 cherry 1 gg4 1 purple d f1 so far. still have 4 f2's not sexed yet. i will try next time out to get a pix of the whole pot. i have covered them up a little with ground scraping's for camouflage but i will try

I have a few autos just put in for a little breeding project.If you look close you can almost see them, lol.
Having a rough start this year, lost some to flooding and wreaked my knee, so a little behind but will start a thread when I have something to show.

Hey flboy, thought you might like to have a look at a couple of the God Bud half of your GB x CB cross at 40 days flower. As mentioned earlier, all my present grow had some overwatering issues that's put them a bit behind and just now really coming out from that set back. Starting to put on some weight, probably will let em go another 3-4 weeks. T5 lights in 3 gal pots. Also have a new pic in the album of the topped GBCB at 40 days, along with a shot of 3 Gbud clones under 400w HPS in 3 gal pots.

man what a difference from the last shot of them. bounce back like a champ. now i'm really disappointed. last time i was at the plot an animal got in the pot's that had my two gb x cb and destroyed them. i gave them a shot of fish emulsion and it must have drawn them in to them. i put out some stuff to deter them but the rains must have washed it away. big enough for food but to little for the soil mix. i only have a few left so not sure i will try again this season or wait till next to give them another run.

would like if you would post them till there done as i would like to see them finish cause they look real good already

Oh man, hate to hear that! I was looking forward to seeing them outside in the big pots, I know you were too. I dusted one of mine, the untopped GBCB so maybe something special might come from that and be available for next season. I would be glad to finish these with pics and throw a few out over the next few weeks. In fact, I have another long lanky GBCB I haven't posted yet and will include next time. Good luck with the rest of the crop!
