Chemdog Sour Diesel poppin beans...

Im curious if anybody else is attempting to start any of these beans.

I put 10 in paper towels on the 17th or 18th after soaking for 24 hours in a shot glass in plian RO water. As I dumped the seeds into the paper towel, one appeared to be cracked and starting to tail. I've been looking daily and now there are two seeds cracked and starting a tail but they seem really slow to grow. I'm taking the 2 cracked seeds and placing them in a new paper towel today and adding some H2O2 & molasses to the RO water and will see if they take off. The remaining 8 seeds will be kept in a warm place until I decide they're dead.

If these don't take off, I have 10 more seeds to try.

In the mean time, please share any CDSD tips yall may have.

I have some of them Rez freebies forgot which ones but

I would scuff em then add h202.

Place them in a seed starter soil

Add some og bio root powder.

Also there is some threads about cracking old beans.

But u do hold the right mix of strains from Rez where the majic is

Then pry to Ja to see if they pop.

I will be hear rooting for u.

Kingsgard pop some ChemD IBL´s, he buy the 100, atm 1 cracked and he started with 10 , he pack 20 since 2 days to the others ...
Thread is in german, but you can also write to him in Englisch or else so he need to translate, i think he got also few CDSD as freebies...didnt know when he start them...

I just placed one of these into flower , hoping for a female .
I usually only pop 1 bean at a time of each kind and hope for the best .
I most likely did the sand paper in the matchbox trick .
sometimes i do the soak of old beans in ful-power ( whatever it suggests on the container)

Hey MJPassion. I made a few thousand of those seeds and was having trouble germinating too. 197caregiver gave me some tips and the H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) does help for sure. Keeps old seeds from rotting I think. Here is a link to the thread -

197caregiver's germination method -

(1) In a spray bottle fill with 3/4 water and 1/4 H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide).
(2) Add 2 ml General Organics Bio Root.
(3) 1 ml superthrive.
(4) Use cotton rounds to place the seeds on.
(5) Put into clear baggie under light.

I recently just attempted to crack some beans. I did 3 each of 3 different strains and then 5 of the Chemdog x Sour Diesel. I only got 1 of 5 up on the CDSD. 2 others did crack, one rotted and the other just fizzled out so I have 1 out of 5 on top of 9 for 9 with the others.

10% germ rate is the new norm for old tired Rez beans I guess. My Chem D IBL pack turned out the same giving me one male. I put him to work anyway.

I am grateful that I received these as freebies (2 packs so far). Hoping for another pack to show up but will see when it gets here w my order.

I've had my packs in the fridge since they were originally dropped. I haven't attempted to pop them, but they're definitely high on my list. I'm not popping them with this round of seed, because I actually want to keep the males. So they'll have to wait for the next round, which may just be an all Rez round. Just to see what comes up. I'm guessing the trinity auction packs will have a lower rate, but I'm hoping my original packs will be much better.

I too am looking for males. These are supposed to be stupid potent so may as well see what can be found. If I get males & females I'll be super stoked & light a bonfire up under their asses for a fillial gen.

Im kind of hoping my lone seedling will be a stellar male. Id settle for stellar female as well. I have some other offspring of the line that Im sure a nice male would pair well with. If it is a stud he will be letting it fly for sure.

I recentry got 4 out of 5. They all germed but one failed to make it above soil, one more will probably be tossed as well because it hasn't grown at all since popping above the soil.

Ideally I'd like 2 females and 1 male from my 3 good ones.

Good luck to all sorting these seeds. Some serious fire in this line. One of the most devastatingly potent plants I've ever smoked came from these seeds - and her resulting offspring have been nothing short of legendary.

There really is some gold to be found. Try soaking these in Coot's seed start recipe:

12 oz. pure coconut water
1 oz. BioAg Ful-Power (pure Fulvic acid)
1 oz. Aloe vera juice

Fill to 1 gallon with the cleanest, purest water you can get your hands on. Soak your seeds for 24 - 36 hours and then strain.

Also stature wise, it seems like a mostly upright frame with just the "right" branching.
