Chemdawg Diesel

I popped 4 of my chemdog D x IBL's a few days ago... I lost one by dropping it and not finding it after an hour of looking!!! that suX big time! :nono:
They are currently under a weak cfl... and they indeed do seem to stretch...
I cant put them under the HPS yet cause i got to wait for my other plants to flower out (demn these abusive kushaze's take well long to finish up...)
I could put them under the HPS in 12/12... and then in about 2 weeks turn the HPS to 18/6... what ya think... bad idea?
heres my next line up:
4 x chemdog d x IBL
5 x strawberry diesel
5 x sour diesel IBL
2 x NL Haze x IBL (freebie)
I gotta smoke these diesels once and for all!!!

Rez, Looks like it's gonna be a good cross, but what ever happened to not releasing any Chem Dawg D commerically? Is this a Trinity charity auction? "They are not to limited" on your "up and coming thread". I guess your word to Chemdog is only good for only so long and then it expires. I guess Chem will never get a chance to release his own strain. :fsu:

JJ,
There's No Problem,here.
Friends & I traded clones with Chem, and the only spoken restrictions on the clones were not to widely hand them out. We probably asked him to do the same-
(Read here at IC,bro: The whole 'chem family' is being handed out on the west coast like bubblegum clones,in bulk.)
By who?
Read up,and you'll easily figure it out,it damn sure wasn't me,I'm in Ibiza.
Simply put-Chem let 'em all out of the bag,and that,my friend,is that.)
JJ,You should know-Chem's 100% incommunicado, and has been for several months.
(Again) For the record: He knows how to reach me if he wants to speak directly to me,he's had a direct line to me for months & months.
He hasn't bothered.
Why?
Because he doesn't care.
When last we spoke,I talked to him about the Projects I might undertake, and he was going to get the CD '91 Clone to me and give me a bunch of the original bagseeds TO BREED WITH,as well.
(Read: Chem's A-Okay with what I'm doing.)
Chem knows "if anybody's gonna' do,and do it right, and put the time in-it's gonna' be me."
(The above is an abridged quote, directly from Chemdog.)
A Sad Fact: Chem's never ever going to have the resources that I have,or the time and space,to commit to a long-term stabilization project, like I did with the Sour Diesel Clone.
I happen to be the best-positioned to do the best workwith these, and imo that's a Good Thing, hell, I've got a year into it,already, and its' been a blast thus far!
Chem and I will do Joint Projects if he ever decides to come back, but that's highly unlikely, imo, given the hand life's dealt him.
In closing,I'm almost done with hyper-focused work utilizing Chem's Parent Stock-they weren't all my tops-in-pops,and I have other interesting Projects that're stacking up faster than my GSXR hits a buck-sixty.

Cheers!

Been watching from behind the scenes for a while. Heard a lot of crazy myths of these legendary strains. I just want to say, you 2 have my utmost respect.
not tryin to kiss your ass or anything, just sayin Props to ya and your dedication to workin towards breeding the ultimate in canna-genetics. Double D??? whats the lineage on her? is she just double back of herself? She looks huge in the pics. anyway, thanks! :joint:

I haven't talked to Chemdog in a month or so and I haven't had a face to face with him for a long time so we haven't had an opportunity to really talk especially since I try not to discuss too much over the phone. I know that last time we had a smokeout of course we talked about the furure of chemdog beans and shit and at the time he did want first hand involvement in their production but then shit happened and priorities change. Rez, I wouldn't assume though that because Chem hasn't called you that he doesn't care though. He has a great love for his weed and I know he cared deeply about the future of his strains but life took other turns for him. Obviously I can't say how Chemdog feels about how seeds (and clones) are being distributed but I know how much he loves his strains and I'm sure that even if he can't be involved in how his strains get out he still cares about what happens to them. I'm not saying that he would be happy or not but I'm sure that he still cares. I know he has told me more than once though that he would like to see those strains more widely available and I am sure that Rez did a fine job breeding the strains. The way that I look at it is at least Chemdog's name is on the strain so at least he is getting props for the fine work that he did. It's all good, people get to sample some great genetics and Chemdog gets the credit that he deserves.

Right now,it seems Chem has no interest in what I've been doing, and due to life-changes,cannot be involved.
That being said,if he had any issues with what I'm doing,he can easily get in touch.
He hasn't,and from our conversations I've deducted that it's perfectly okay for me to be doing what I'm doing,so I'm happily continuing to do what I love.

Cheers!

I for one see no problems with that REZ.
But I have a hard time saying anyone owns the genetics of a weed....
Respect is certainly one thing though...and Rez is displaying that in FULL here.

I'm sure that you're right Rez, if he had any issues he'd get in touch with you. I was just trying to point out that even though he can't be involved I'm sure he still loves the strains and cares what happens to them. From what I've seen you're doing a great job with the strains. I'm a fan anyhoo, I'm running your Strawberry D and that shit rocks. I crossed it to Doubledog and back to Strawberry D and I'm growing out a few now and they look very nice.

Smokey, I'm sorry if I got a bit off topic from your thread. Great buds and great pics Bro.
