OK Here are some shots of the d I ran a few cycles ago. It was not that healthy in veg but did great in flower, was flowered at 8 to 12 inches and did not strech a whole lot. I think I topped it once or fimmed it. Was vegged under t5 flouro's (Good VEGG lights).

Looks like chemdawg is turning into the new OG Kush.
Nothing but argueing and misinfo. What a shame.
There are chemdawg cuts out there that swerve and chemdawg don't know about.
To think otherwise would be silly. Be realistic people. I know chemdawg was careful who he gave it to.
But people steal and lie, thats a fact. Someone could grab a cut off a mom and stick it in his pocket for example. and root it later.
There is a million ways it could have ended up in the wrong hands.

i can finally agree with jdog, there probably are cuttings of chemdawg that swerve and chem don't know about, and probably didn't necessarily start from them either. i'm still under the impression that some people out there have chemdawg that never even originated from chem and others.

chemdawg was grown by more than one back then and i'm sure chem was not the only one to save a few beans, pop em, and spread a cut over the past 15-20 years. chem just happened to make a much bigger impact on the scene obviously.

or the original cutting the guys in colorado grew could be around. the guys in colorado could have been one of a big crew of guys from cali or something that started the chem.

and unfortunately for chem, people definitely don't stick to their words and the cuts will get out there whether he likes it or not. He just haves to hope that people respect him (for starting and keeping genetics like these around for you guys to enjoy) and won't be stepping on his toes by mass producing his gear for the hype (cough, cough).... if he did so want to make some beaners for market.

I still say OG is it's own strain and not an s1 of chemdawg. Og'ers kush could possibly be the s1 people talk bout, but the original/sfv og's, definitely not. at best, chemdawg was maybe introduced into the og's genepool at some point. IMHO

the chem i know, came from a nononline source in norcal and definitely isn't the #4, #2, and from the D pics of smokey and others, def. not chem d, and based on wonkonobe's pics, not the 91 chem. so go figure.

my point is that there are plenty of custies out there for these wares
only a small percentage of growers frequent these boards and even still-only a handful have it
i wish chemdog only the best in releasing these in IBL and hybrid forms-its been quite sometime since he posted about his plans-he was being extremely reasonable about his prices as well-we want the chemdog!

Many folks bought rez seeds and took clones. Their selection of clones from seed is what many clubs sell as ECSD, Sour D, Diesel, Sour Diesel etc... ECSD was a term (methinks) that was coined by rez when he started given the seeds away.

I am pretty sure that rez doesn't make anything off the clones, except for the point of purchase $$ that the site collects at auction... or does he kidding!!

As with most of y'all, we (me and the girls) are going through the process of testing as wide of a spectrum as available.

Most of "sour diesel", so far, taste the same - have different growing patterns.

Some taste completely different and could be blatant ripoffs or just bad labeling

We kept a NYCD x OG that had the taste, yield and high that we desire. It may have come from sverve or whoever... but it is a good clone for sure. Othes were a disaster and waste of space.

It's tough on us... all these options

The reality is that folks share genetics... and some don't. There are plenty of private folks in the med community that are not part of THIS community. There are some great folks out there!

Yup. Those cuts are goin around the bay right this second. Matter of fact it seems the only people who can't get em are online. Also, i think i read in this or another thread, that the cuts weren't supposed to be given to commercial types. Well... i've yet to see somebody with em who only ran a few lights. Nobody is keeping their word

Yeah,but everything good in SoCal is labelled 'kush' lol!
The 'trick' with Kushes is to actually use legit Kushes in a breeding program.
Most don't,I do.
I've got some absolutely poifect Chemdog D finishing up shortly,I'll definitely get some new images as soon as I can.

Hey,Dusty,I grew out four packs,so that's roughly 50,due to iffy germ rates.
As to what 'Zilla found,well,that's what his experience was,mine differed,greatly.
(Also,I've been growing almost 20 years,and my setup's probably more condusive to positive results than his.)
The Sensi HK I've run have been as homogeneous as I'd expect from an unhybridised IBL,with only minimal phenotypic variation,three phenos,all serious indicas,and from my personal experience,a damn good indica smoke,and a perfect indica-for- out-cross breeding-line.

Hindu Kush definately doesn't hold a candle to the Purple, orange, and Bubba Kush cuts so popular in California. Your Kush may be "legit" but its a less than prized specimen.

always remember that people call thier plants whatever they want to, so what may be called chem may not be the same as what chem found in 91. Ive heard alot of weird strain names since coming online and its pretty much a case of people just calling it whatever the hell they want to call it.
