3 is much more prone to hermie then the 4. But neither of them compare with the D imho.

How do you know it has 23.33% THC? Just asking, I wonder how this concept came together...

I KNEW IT WAS HIGH<<just like me:)hahaha

ive seen 3 different chemd's tested...all in the 20-21.56 range...differs from different growers. not 23 %though.

dont think the thc test is quite accurate on% equalling the amount of buzz you feel.

strong indicas test low on the thc range...and deffinatly get you a different kind of high.

think the complete thc, cbd and terpines ,sp? all combine to give each specimine a signature buzz.

i do KNOW the high testers are at least accurate in that they are very strong.

the highest test i saw the results from was in the 26.25 %range, listed as a pure sativa.
forget the name,,,was a local unknown strain<<killer sativa buzz<<<if you were looking for the indica pain relief, appitite enhancment or, help SLEEPING<<<wouldnt have worked for ya:)

i hear the 3 is better than the 4...

Dude rick, you shouldn't be allowed to post in Chem or cali kush threads....

Nice nug of the Chem4... Im always so skeptical about those THC test, the whole % of THC thing to me always seems like sucha novelty.

My friend has some chem4 at about 8 weeks right now, i cant wait for it too be done... The only batch of chem4 ive smoked wasnt properly dried/cured, cause it smelled a lot like hay, with only a slight pine/chem smell....
My friends right now just has the most lovely piney chem reek.:joint:

How do they figgure the %, by weight or vol? In either case, trimming to straight calyxes and BONE dry buds would read higher. Still, I wish I had a dry 'chem something'. This cable box takes forever to dry buds...

When they dont say what it is a percentage of makes it meaningless. Its like saying I got a 1/4 (25%) of weed.Is that alot of weed or not.

I got lost in that example.

a percentage of active ingredient is way different then a measurement of "Weight" of herb.

I would think there should be a few diff sub-categories for measuring thc and then a main category which combines them. Example...

Sub-Category #1- Measurement of thc and other cannabinoids in each individual resin gland, and then averaging it out. These levels can vary a decent amount due to how early or late the grower chooses harvest and/or cure the product. Several samples from different grows and climates should be taken for most accurate approach. Remember, if you have a plant with 5 glands that are 20% thc and then you make it grow 5 more, it will not increase the THC percentage when using this method, and that is why i have this next category....

Sub-Category #2- Measurement of the overall resin gland production by mass (taking a large region of the plant matter and counting the glands, and then get a percentage of glands to plant matter...i.e. 100heads per inch cubed of the flower, or could also use some exponential number which it would probably call for. Several samples from different grows and climates should be taken for most accurate approach also.

Sub-Category #2A Is very similar to the previous. This could be measurement by weight of resin glands to plant matter. You could use some exponential number in ratio to the weight of the specimen such as 10 to the 5th heads per gram). I would think category 2 and 2A would be like using metric vs non-metric, its just preference. Or if you really wanna get in depth you can come up with a way to evenly express the combination of Category 2 and 2A!

Main Category- A combination expression of the latter two sub-categories. It would tell you how many resin heads per gram, and what the average potentcy of one of them is. So know you could know that strain a has 10 to the 5th heads per gram and each head is at 20% thc. And of course there would be an adopted expression on how to write this im sure. Stoners and exponents dont mix well! lol

So the steps i propose are..
-Measure phsycoacive content of a sample of individual glands
-Measure overal resin gland production by mass, weight, or both.
-Combine the latter 2

It would also be nice to have another subcategory which classifies the average size of the trichome heads in microns, so ppl know what kind of hash they will get when growing that strain.
Ok im stoned and tired, so if something doesnt make sense to u, let me know.
