that thread is what convinced me its possible to get a good yield without having 50 plants per square meter and is the entire reason I started my grow  (one day Jamie... one day mate...)

Hey hey im late but i made it. Nice JS very Nice. the name of this strain sounds like a sweet cheesburger or something. :) Ill be taggin along.

Yeah, it takes a little longer, but you can almost make 50 plants out of one plant in a good scrog. NGB certainly did. People that have plant limits or don't want to mess with that many plants certainly have a good option for good yields instead of SOG. Makes more sense for me too.

thanks for looking in guys

where I'm from in the UK they "do" you per plant, no matter what stage of life... So if you had 50, 2 day old seedlings they'd hammer you for the 50 plants and a "potential" street value... if you had 1 NGB 450 gram monster...well.. actually, I don't suppose they've seen too many of those, So I think they'd be a bit stumped  ... "just the one plant?... caution is it?"

Good luck with your scroggin, JS. I also found inspiration in NBG's grow, but still have a bunch jammed in too small a space.

are you about ready to flip the girls? i wonder how much they are going to stretch after going 12/12.

from the looks of it, they are going to fill out that screen nicely. A+ work!

quick update.... all the cheeseberries (cept one - I'll get to that) are now back in the veg box until their new home arrives next week. they'll continue on 18/6 til then and when they're moved next time will be potted on to their last pots (12liter).

the PPs are now on their last full day of light. they'll get a lie in tomorrow as they start their new regime of 12/12 - I had planned to move my WW in there to flower as well - it has been on 12/12 in the veg box for the last 2 weeks and finally Bess has shown sex... Bess is now called Brian... so, this leaves me with a few options... kill Brian in a fit of outrage ....keep brian and catch his little "wad" when he blows it and try n create Low White - when my masterlows time comes, (cracking those on Mar 26, they're en route - woohoo) or figure out some other uses for white widow pollen.

in either case this left me with a big pot sized gap on the floor of my flower tent... so what I did was took the biggest most female looking cheeseberry plant, potted it on and moved it back into the tent. the cheeseberries showing preflowers already, this one looks more like a fine, whispy, split shoot, than any of the others. this one also has a lot of good looking side growth and assuming it turns out to be a "she" will be cloned and the tops left to finish..

I'll get a few new pics soon

Nice grow buddy... My first one was a scrog whit an unique blueberry plant... scrog rocks.

It's funny, I'm growing some Blue Cheese, a mix between Blueberry and Cheese. Looks like our strains are similar. :)

Anyway thanks for stopping by on my diary, I wish you luck with your scrog! I will check your thread to see how things are going!

Looking Great Jamie.
That damn Brain. What to do with that assholes. I have yet to breed any myself. Need to get with it. Never know when the flow of beans will stop.

Least we got the right lights in now. Gonna make some killer buds now. :woohoo:
Keep trucking along

you're not wrong mate... in the end I couldnt decide what to do with him, so I've put him back in veg until such time as I'm ready to collect

todays pics (sorry - I forgot to get one at lights out last night so its a dodgy fone pic) you can see that the screen is filling in double time and I'll probably have to stop training horizontally in a few days time and then just keep snapping stems til its all even.

the cheeseberries meanwhile are settling back into the veg box while I sort thier new tent this week. all seems to well in there, although I seem to have a guest. each day I'll find little holes munched out of my leaves... only tiny ones, hardly "damage" - I'm not sweating it, but if I see anyting flying in there I'll try n get it..

a note to anyone scrogging power plant clones for the first time - aim for about 30-40% full screen before flip. I went for 50% and after just 4 days stretch I'm running out of space quite badly and will need to pull quite a lot back through the screen later on to keep the canopy even. not only that but theres a hell of a lot of stretch to go, with these stretching up to double - or so I"m told...

happy growing
j
