If they're still coming to your town go see the show,
damn near 2 hours long and dedicated to our ideals.......

The Orpheum Theatre Mnpls and some fans, the guy on the right
was passing out one hits from his dugout to anyone wanting one.......

a sampling of the C&C fans in attendance & a look at the size of the
Orpheum, I figure 500 on the main floor and maybe half that many in
the balcony. Small theatre seating is best, not a bad view in the house.

Shelby Chong started the show off with the story of how
the bust went down, besides being hot she's sharp & does
a great job, she also played 'Fifi' in the Ralph & Herbie skit.

They opened with the same bit they used in their first movie 'Up in Smoke'.

You probably know all the skits by now, 'Let's Make a Dope Deal'
was awesome and my all time favorite C & C skit by far.

Red Mendoza & Blind Melon Chitlin', Blind Melon was kind enough to play
us some blues, something they never did in their movies as Chong was
always portayed to just be a waste case stoner, not a good musician.

Tommy looked and sounded great! I wonder what he's
been doing all these years that helps him stay so cool and
upbeat regardless of the gray hair, oh yeah, now I know.......

They did a bilingual singalong of 'Up In Smoke' as the encore.......

oh yeah.......

AND AS USUAL, DAVE'S NOT HERE.......

They need to make a new movie and call it "Cheech and Chong Back to the Bong" or something like that
first of all bro you ought to copyright that avatar if it's yours.......

they talked about doing a new movie and wtf! with the Cheech & Chong product recognition being what it is it should be a hit if well written, this tour was 90% old stuff & that was just fine with me as it's still funny on CD and so live was even better.

"Mexican Americans...."

"Mexican Americans...."

GAWD I love these guys!!!
Both make me laugh(sometimes I pee a little) so hard I could cry.
At 14 I saw "Up In Smoke" and thought I was sooooo cool.

Both guys have aged well. Handsome boys they are!

Remember that scene where Cheech was teaching Tommy his new song about Mexican Americans? I love that! And then Tommy started his new song called "Beaners", and that was about all he said in the stupid song?! FUNNY!!
Think that was their second movie?

They have such charisma together. Am hoping to go to either Denver or Phoenix to see them. :rasta:

Words of wisdom: Never let Cheech Marin teach you to say "hello" to a Mexican. ;-)
