No offense Roor but if it is not purple it is not purps. Purps is just slang for purple buds. Some are more purple than others but if it doesn't have any purple than how can it be called purps. According to what you are saying, I should call these whites.

As far as I know blueberry does have bluish hues but it's name comes from it's flavor not its color so I don't get your point.

What does the quality and the color of opium have to do with what is being discussed. You are saying that plants that don't have any purple in them are purps, and then try to validate your point with this nonsense. I guess white widow was given its name because of the purple buds it is so famous for.

Those are straight commmercial "hardball" purps.


They look very heavy chemmed up, possible with purple max or something else, that kind of weed is very popular here and fetches extremely high prices even though i think its pretty bad. Its just way too chemmy for my tastes, the growers of this stuff dont even flush it.


The best purps are half colored, mostly green, and only the inner buds have purple tints.

here is a nug of "purple wonder" i had, honestly its probably just really good GDP renamed, the best purps have a half colored consistency. see how it looks greenish, but you breaek that badboy open all you see is purple with nice grapey smell.

Ive had really good gdp and grape ape that was pure purple with a very light hint of green with orange pistils.

You have a misconception of this so called "purps". Doesnt need to have green to be a good "purp".

Ive had those dark purps too, ive had about a hundred varieties of the "dark darks" some are good, but almost all are chemmy. That "boss purp" resembles some of the worst darks i have seen.

I have seen so many different purples last year we almost exclusively did purple, the best ones are a 50% green/purp with the majority of the purp inside the buds. For selling, yea maybe the dark darks are better, but for connoisseur shit, the best purps (in my opinion of course) are the 50 percenters.

I was bout to flip. I didnt see your (in my opinion of course). I prefer the 75%dark-green. None the less there will always be good & BAD purps but as long as the toker is happy thats all that matters.

I can agree with this statement you could not smoke alot of this due to the fact that "I" could taste the nutes still. My friends love it but they have never grown and don't know the diff.

Heres some nugs of my Bubba Kush that turns purple but these are kinda bad pics you can only really see the hues of purple, these are also bottom nugs, the tops get really purple anyone know why?
