a butter knife to make transplanting go easier. 10 or 25 cents at a thrift store or a garage sale. (free if taken from your untensil tray).

Binder clips on coat hangers work better for me than clothes pins when it comes to hanging buds in the closet.

Impress microscopic anti-static/dirt spray (from Modern Solutions). I wipe all my fan blades down with it & it really helps keep dirt & dust from sticking to everything. Use it on my computer fans too & it's perfect for the glass in a/c hoods. It's like a clear teflon coating that doesn't streak when you spray it on - i mean the dust actually falls off of it.

Hole Saw kit from Harbor Freight. Often on sale (as it is now) for $4. Perfect for net pots and plenty of other situations where you need round holes.

Their corded VSR drill is sometimes $9.99 and I've used mine for a year; plenty of torque for the cannacarpenter.

I save the 16-ounce plastic cups Trader Joe's yogurt comes in. They're the same size as Solo party cups, but sturdier and more durable. I make extra drainage holes in the bottoms with a $6 soldering iron I got at Big Lots.

grow bags with a circle cut out of the bottom make nice skirts for clear containers. You can lift the skirt and see if they need water, if they're bound, etc.

Foil Tape.

The best one so far, One Gallon Glass Jars for $4. They come full of Saurkraut at the local bulk shopping store. You can fit A LOT in one of these things. Lots of advantages. If you only fill 1/2 way and put a few paper towels inside, you'll know theyre done when you reach in the jar and feel no more humidity.

3/4" foam foil backed insulation board about $15 4x8 sheet

I've constructed entire grows with just this and foil tape. Doors shelves light traps you name it as its light proof and easy to work with

You can cut it with just a razor knife and snap it but now I use a fine blade circular saw for more exact edges and glue it together with low expanding can foam and toothpicks till the foam dries.

You can paint it or cover with mylar using spray adhesive

Great thing is if you have to de-construct really fast just bust it apart and stuff it in a trash bag and grow room gone.

I've been toying with the idea of making custom size pots with it.
