Hanna Combo Pen is the best.

~$100.00 for EC/TDS/PH/Temp
Works a treat, easy to calibrate, easy to clean, and it's WATERPROOF. :)

Does it read TDS and PH simultaneously? I already have an Oakton Basic PH and am looking for a TDS/EC. Sure would be nice to test everything in one dip rather than have 2 meters.

The Hanna 98129 pen reads EC/TDS-PPM(Hanna .5 conversion factor)/pH and Temp adjustable to F or C. I think Sunstone's price of $109 is the best you'll ever see from a retailer for that unit. It's VERY accurate. Super sweet deal!

Redux: Bit the bullet and got the Hannah. $118 shipped. They had an ebay buy it now that was $10 more than their website, maybe it was free shipping.

Now I have an $70 Oakton PH that I'll gift to a buddy, maybe he can use it for his pool cause he don't grow.

It's a great little piece of equipment. Best meter of it's type for the money IMO. You got a super deal .

Hi, I found on e-bay a shop who ship worldwide from china. I've bought a TDS meter and a Ph meter (digital both) for 30€ and i've payed 15€ for the shipping. Here in italy was delivered in 5 days, but I've had to pay 15€ more for customs tax. The shop is named virtualvillage.com. I can't say you if is real good in front of Hanna etc., but this is what i've done in 11 days with those testers and a 250w hps ;)

Ciao

Looks like you've got it going on Lightmind!

I've ordered some stuff for another hobby direct from China and saved money untill I got some bad parts and then returns were a pain. I ended up paying about the same once I got done with shipping and all said and done it took over 5 weeks to get sorted out.
If I order from HK again it will be something with no moving parts or electronics.

I think you right Someguy (but I didn't understand all of your words :D). By the way, yes, there is always a risk to loose a lot of time if something like that happens. In my case, i had the fortune to know that this shop was based in china, but the owners was 2 italian girls and they was so glad with me.

I think that a bit of luck is necessary. Infact I'm loosing a month to wait a couple of rams for my pc from germany (damn dhl).
