Hey, you guys remember about my tellin ya'll bout my lil girlie friend gowin with me to a couple meetings and then chanting at her house by herself and really getting into Gongyo and then going to room D by her self to participate in Gongyo. Well it all paid off cause shes gettin her Gohonzon on New Years Eve!!! How cooll is that, 
i dont know but im just fuckin thrilled for her and she seems sincerely thrilled for herself.

Nichiren Daishonin writes (Encouragement to a Sick Person, WND p. 78):
"During the Former and Middle Days of the Law, the five impurities began to appear, and in the Latter Day, they are rampant. They give rise to the great waves of a gale, which not only beat against the shore, but strike each other. The impurity of thought has been such that, as the Former and Middle Days of the Law gradually passed, people transmitted insignificant erroneous teachings
while destroying the unfathomable correct teaching. It therefore appears that more people have fallen into the evil paths because of errors with respect to Buddhism than because of secular misdeeds."

When you can deepen the conviction that your life itself is the entity of Buddha just as you are now .......not when you become some perfect being.... then when something comes up, you can feel no fear or anxiety . It is just another opportunity to transform it into a greater benefit and transform suffering into joy. Supreme optimist, he/she has no fear of the future, no regret of the past. Your Life is Buddha. You can transform anything and make any situation manifest its latent Buddhahood. So , even in a situation of hell, because you have this deep conviction that your life itself is a Buddha, you manifest that conviction and the Buddhahood innate within that phenomena or situation rises up to match that.

It sure is a trip--with so many of these "interesting times of the year" already behind me--to be doing this, this year, with six kids surounding me with love in their eyes.

In view of all this, your sincerity in sending a gift of five strings of blue-duck coins whenever the opportunity arises truly entitles you to be known as one who propagates the daimoku of the Lotus Sutra in Japan. As first one person, then two persons, then a thousand, ten thousand, a hundred thousand and then all the people throughout the country come to chant the daimoku, before you know it their blessings will accrue to you.

We have all grown so much through this thread. I thank each and everyone of you who has participated in this thread. Good morning my friends, man im gettin such inspiration from this thread right now. As you all might have guessed before i posted about my friend recieving her Gohonzon, i posted the cerimonial !!!!POP!!!! Noting the fact that my head had POPPED out of my ass, i was havin, a hard time dudes, fucking bullshit but nonetheless i wasnt chanting like i should have been, as i told T, i couldnt open my Butsudans doors. I take this vary seriously but as you all know i like to have fun! But i wasnt having any fun not chanting to my Gohonzon, so i feel i have to hit it very hard this next week, and of course from then on. If ya'll remember it was me who said to T2U "We chant all the time , not waiting for an obstacle to come our way and then chant it away" Something to that effect. Thats why i wasnt here for three days, well i wasnt posting for 3 days anyway, nothing it seems can stop me from reading this thread, its more than just reading a thread , its learning on a daily basis and HANGIN WITH MY LIKEMINDED FRIENDS!!!!
I would feel like a hypocrite standing with my friend on stage as she recieves her Gohonzon and im not even doing what i brought her into this for, thats bullshit, fuck that. I wanna practice what i preach, walk the walk, talk the talk but most importantly i wanna be happy and i wasnt with my head up my ass, period.
I love all you guys so much and i am so glad to be back, it was downright scary looking at my butsudan and not being able to open the doors. This thread helped me realize that. Its hard for me to put into words what im tryin to say im just so glad and incredibly blessed to have been lead here, my life has changed so much and all the people that i have known for awhile see the positive change in me, why would i want to give that up??????

My christmas gift to all of you was the Gosho, "The Entity of the Mystic Law."
I know few read the whole four posts. Please go back and do so. There is a most important message in that Gosho. But it also explains that it's OK if you don't get that message. The Universe hears your prayers regardless of how you perceive it, so long as you chant.
