I "THINK" if you dont know its a multi-tap (meaning it can accept different voltages) you should be able to open the box and you will see some loose wires in there coming off the big magnet (the actual ballast). They will be different colors and usually have voltages written on them. If you have that, it means the ballast can run on 220/240. then its a matter of switching some of those wires, which ones I dont know.
I think but wait for someone more experienced to confirm
sorry this took so long guys to answer ive been SOOO busy setting up my new house i got 80+ hours into it its ****ing stupid ill try and open up a ballast tomorrow and let every one know thanks.
On that note does anyone have a step by step from changing a 110v 30a breaker to a 240v breaker. Ive asked this question before and got a its real easy answer took me 5 min. But looked online and couldnt fidn the right info.
I assuming your changing the 120V circuit to a 240V circuit.Simply remove the breaker and install a 2 pole 30A of the same make, land both wires on the breaker and leave the ground untouched.Of course you need an extra space in the panel for a 2 pole breaker.
