Thanks for the reply. I actually broke a bloody 42 w lamp last nite, so I am going to be down to 77 as I only had a 13w and 23w to replace for the moment. I will have things back up to 84 in a couple days though; as they are really just at the beginning of the 12/12 cycle, I dont think it will make a difference.

I've also got my plants LSTed to the max except for two clones that I have put straight into flower after about a week or so of veg after rooting. I'll shoot ya a link to my grow once I can get some photos and maybe I can get some feedback.

Can you offer any comment on the performance of the 85 watt versus the 42 watt cfl's? The 42 watters are what, $7.95 or something? And those 85 watt ones are more like $35.

Is is worth the xtra bux? How do you use them together? Illuminate us

sorry for waiting so long to respond, i didnt see this question sooner. it came with its own reflector, but no, it wasnt worth the extra money. it did seem much brighter than 2 42 watters though, but you could easily hang 3 42W and have even more light and lumens for less money, the 85W i bought wasn't 34 bucks, it was $59.95 at home depot i think. i have abandonded cfl's for anything other than supplemental lighting though, i just got a lumatek 400W digital ballast annd am going that route from now on so i can grow taller plants.

Hey.... thanks OldLurker,is a involuntary cross between ww and s.maria automatic,i'm very curious to know what will come out.
It are very fast flowering,i turned to 12/12 after 7 days it were born,and after 14/16 days to 12/12 it start flowering.

Unknown strain.....65 days of 12/12....Wish I'd took a cut.

Leave the LARF and a few fan leaves on the base of the plant when you harvest and drop it back into 18/6 or 24/0. It'll revert in a month or so and start putting out new veg growth. Then you can clone it or reflower it.

LARF is Light Airy Really Fluffy buds. Those little tiny buds you know you wont smoke anyways.

larf is the little wispy bits of bud that by the time they dry aren't even worth bothering with. If it's not something that you're excited to smoke, leave it on the plant. The first new veg growth will come from these tops when it reverts.



Same plant in all three pics. (L to R): First is just before harvest. Second is after harvest. (it's the one in the hood container). Third is after re-potting and vegging for 2 months.

(I harvested her over a year ago and she still provides clones that live in my perp cab.)
