Cervantez Ultimate Grow STREAMING

Sweet, thanks dude, I've yet to watch it, but I'm sure it will prove useful. And I don't think Jorge will mind. I read in an article that he went to canada back in the day, when his book was banned there. He met a couple who had a photocopied version of his book in a 3 ring binder that made the rounds. He was thrilled, like all he wants is to spread the word.

StaySafe,

If you're using Firefox, yes. When you get to the stage6 site, go to Tools > Page info. On the "media" tab look for the imbed entry, then paste the url into the address bar and download the file*. Simply change the file extension from .divx to .avi and you can use any number of programs to convert it to dvd. A lot of burning utilities, like Nero, can convert it for you.

*If you don't want to install the divx plugin at stage6, you can also use this method to watch files from that site using VLC player . Go to File > open network stream and paste the same url in the http box. Gotta love open source.

Oh and if you're not using Firefox...well, you should...but you're SOL on top of that. I guess you could still view the page source in IE and dig around for the url, I dunno.

Him and Chong are probably the two dudes I would like to have a session with. Just to smoke some weed and listen to some stories from them, would be awesome.

So is there any type of official site to order the DVD? Or just something various grow shops carry or something? Converted it to DVD myself to show a friend and thought about throwing it up on usenet, but certainly don't want to cut the guy out of some potential profits or anything. But if it isn't a problem I'd want to put some url's in the .nfo either way. I'll yield to the discretion of the veterans here, just let me know. Just wanting to spread the good word.

Hey man. Tried to download using your tech savvie method but i dont quite understand...

The only imbed i can find is on the actual page with the vid not firefox media option? Once i paste it into ad bar which command/program do i use to download??

Cheers.

Ok Tools > page info should give you this window.

You copy and paste that in the address bar and click "go". You may need to configure Firefox to "always ask me where to save files" in the Firefox options (Tools > options > "main" tab). Then a box should pop up asking where to save it, just save it to your hard drive. After it's download just rename the file and give it an .avi extension instead of .divx, click "yes" to change the file extension.

You might be able to convert it as is with the .divx extension, depends on if the program you're using recognizes that extension. If not, it should if you change it to avi.

-edit- If you have problems make sure you have a divx (or xvid) codec installed on your pc. Or VLC player will play just about anything without needing to worry about codecs. Plays dvd files, mp3's, you name it. But for converting it you'll need an actual codec most likely, again, depending on the program you're using. There are various all-in-one codec packs out there, like the klite codec pack or one called cccp codec pack (I think that's what it was called). You may also need an mp3 codec, like LameMP3, but most codec packs will come with that too.

A great DVD...

...but a bit redundant if you've spent any real time on ICMAG.

However, I submit to Cervante's cannabis authority and suggest you watch it anyways. I still can't stand those skits in between like the grow segments; for instance, where three dudes who torch the outdoor plant, and one cat takes a hit and falls down. Am I missing some sort of cultral reference here?

Yeah, I liked the video. It's definitely a must see for newbies. But I agree that the Trailer Park Boys shouldn't have been in it, that was all filler.
