Central Air Help??

I have been searching for a bout 2 weeks about how to incorporate central air and co2 together i tried many forums and to no avail, so could someone here help me out.

Is there a way?
I have thought of many plans to make this work but i need the most pratically example. I thought of purchasing a window ac unit , or even controlling the ac so it only blows at night to refresh the air, using dampers. is this my only option??

I know alot of guys use central air to cool thier grows, the thought of running central air with a return and adding co2 creates a positive pressure enviroment. So what should i do?? save the portable ac units for another post thanks

Short answer: No, you can't use central air with a sealed room (unless the cooling coil is in the room).

If you want to use CO2 and central air, I suppose you could just vent the room and use the central air duct as your intake. It would operate in the same fashion as any vented room with CO2 -- hook your exhaust fan up to a controller/thermostat that turns on when temps get high, and then shuts off for awhile when they go back down while CO2 is released, and then on again when temps get high, etc.

I've only run CO2 in sealed rooms, so I can't really vouch for the efficacy of CO2 in a vented environment.

Smoke check your boy out did this myself if you got ? just holla

here you go

This is the intake

And this is the exhaust now this pic was taken before I finished but the flex goes all the way under the air handler.

This is the return in the room.

And yes I run CO2

Now you need good circulation in the room so it can work but the rest of the house will be hot.

So if you got the balls move the thermo to the room and go get flex and have fun in your attic. See my little fans this things are stanley blowers found in wal mart. Good price and moves the air.

HAHA your adding c02 to whole house?

So I could be wrong, but don't you need c02 in high concentrations for it to be useful to the plants? I considered C02 years ago, and everyone told me it needs to be in a room where no air is leaving or it would be useless. So your gaining like a very small amount of plant growth for your current effort would be my guess.

So to re-iterate, you are supposed to run the c02 with NO air escaping the room, or the c02 leaves also, and you just wasted your money. This is why most people cant do it. Just becuase that guy has C02, doesnt mean its worth it or even helping all that much.

you cant put a price on it ,,if the grower feel its worth it then it is,,

I see what you guys are saying. about a sealed environment no air escaping etc, im my situation when know one is at home for a few weeks the co2 levels inside the house drops. The air handler acts more as a air mover as it moves the air from the arond the house and recirculates it. So when im out of town the co2 goes on to try maintain or heighten the already lower co2 levels
