Central Air Good Enough???

Well, this thread is very old, but everything is up and running now so I just wanted to conclude it with some pictures of product almost done. This is AK47 and it is at 5 and a half weeks into bud. Still has a week and a half at least to go and I am very satisfied with the results so far. This is the third grow in this room. Thanks all for the help putting this all together succesfully!

Thanks Sophisto! I am happy with the results so far. In another day or two I will know my final yeild and only then can I say this grow was a success or not. My goal for this grow is 2 pounds per light dryed to perfection, so a total yeild of 8 pounds.

I just wanted to answer my own question that was the title of this thread. 'Is Central Air good enough to cool a grow on it's own?', and the answer is yes. Anymore than 4 -1000's though would need additional cooling such as air cooled hoods. Then I am sure up to 8 lights would be fine in a large enough room with proper air circulation through out the house.

Nice grow TGT, though i'm alittle lost could you explain ?
At the first or the thread you stated you were using 8" ac reflectors, though the pics are of bare hanging bulbs/no hoods ???

I don't see how you could possably keep that room cool using 4-1000w lights without hoods & no window ac unit ?
