CDPHE Emergency

I called CDPHE today and left a message with Mark Sulley Director of Communications. Complained for a few minutes about the lack of public input at the hearing, the comparisons to regular pharmacy's and such.

I actually received a call back from Mark who was very cordial and suggested that i attend the meeting on Dec. 16th. I was thinking about trying to find the contact info for all 9 members of the BOH and calling them one by one expressing my concerns. I think it might be a good way we all can put in some input in between the meetings so they don't think they can get away with this BS again.

Also does anyone know how the BOH members get appointed/elected? Because i surely know a few dozen CO residents who would sign a petition for a recall election, that would surely scare those F@#$@#.

I just did a lot of reading and have come to a few conclusions

1st as marshmellow stated Clendenin knowingly broke the law. There is no way around that one. Then she decided to plead a medical defense that had more holes in it than a spaghetti strainer. I for one believe that MJ should be entirely legal. That aside its not and she broke the law and tried to hide behind a medical defense screwing the rest of us cause she didn't want to do the time for her crime.

2nd The board of health is reinforcing the same agenda of the 5 patient per caregiver rule that they were trying to pass earlier this year. What they want here is for every patient to have a doctor-patient type relationship with their caregiver. This means that you would have a regular check up type meeting with your caregiver every so often or something similar. It also makes it so that a dispensary would have to supply itself with that caregiver looking over the plants and distributing the medicine. Basically there would be no way to make a large operation with hundreds of patients being served. They want to stomp out dispensaries period.

3rd. If anything is to be changed in our favor we need to start a lobby because these crooked board members and judges can't be reasoned with. They obviously can only be bought. The evidence for that is the lack of reasoning behind this absurd move on their part that hampers everyone in the community. They have an agenda and it isn't to help us.

We are all breaking federal law. If you have your paperwork filled out even without a DR. signature you have intent. That was enough for Warren to get my charges dropped in a case 5 years ago. That info came from Ken Gorman personally(may he Rest in peace). I too didn't want to be on any list. I got my card after my arrest. This isn't her fault it's the judges fault.

Balazar- where do you get this info?? i would like to know more.

apparently, there are a few separate groups right now that are starting to form a lobby! one of them is actually VERY well connected in local democratic politics. i haven't been able to find out any info about them via the web. but as soon as i do i will certainly share more....it's time. the entire BOH is elected. time to get rid of them.

I don't have all the answers, hell I'd probably be wrong on some of them anyway.
I don't know enough of the facts in that case to judge if she was right or wrong. I will say this, I don't agree with breaking a law and then trying to make it look like your lawful after the bust. I don't know facts about if her meds were going to a patient, did she have a condition? Was she contracted with a disp without protection from their plant numbers through their patients?

I would agree that getting in trouble for growing this plant is crazy, but if you don't like the laws you work to change them you don't just go around breaking them.

Last comment.
Our enemies are just sitting back chuckling as we as a group destroy any momentum we have by internet fighting.

I am affected by this as is ANY LEGAL PATIENT or CAREGIVER.
This is not about your wish for MJ to be Legal, I wish for the same thing.

This is about Amendment 20 and she couldn't even follow that.
Don't try and make this into an argument about Legalization.

You say; "she took cuttings for another legal caregiver/patient"
followed with; "she did not know him was just caregiver"
First of all, Did she have her card when she was busted? ILLEGAL
Secondly, if all she was doing was taking some cuts for this "patient"
how many was she giving him?
Let me guess, he used edibles and was going to start his own garden, so he needed 30 cuts?
All the while, "contributing" to her "livelyhood" with his purchases.

just in case you don't recall making this coment^^^^^^-btw,I never said her lively hood was from the herb, just that she lost it -she was a professional that worked from home and was terminated due to her arrest.

and yes the cuts were so the patient could start his own garden, and yes he needs edibles he is dying from aids!

and for the last time the decision had nothing to do with anything other than the fact that testimony of a patient was denied because she only knew his caregiver-It's obvious you haven't read anything and just want to hate on some one-why don't you focus your limited brain power on something you can have a positive effect on!

shut it down? what? over a discussion? really?

I'm not down with the name calling, (take that to PMs) but this is how LIFE IS FOLKS....tough shit.
but i guess we can start a candyland thread...how bout that>

Let's drop it and agree to disagree...let's fight the real fight.

I feel everyone's anger...but lets turn that anger into productive problem solving. Instead of bashing each other lets help one another. There is plenty of blame to go around on this issue. Lets move past the blame and look at our options on how we can prepare for DEC 16th...we can spend this time fighting each other or organizing to fight the man. your guys choice.

Has anyone else made the connection that the Obama administration asked the DEA to back off of medical patients/caregivers that are complying with state law, then the DEA made a statement of compliance, and one week later the health board springs this crap on us instantly making everyone non-compliant? This shit doesn't benefit anyone. Not patients, not caregivers, not the city's of Colorado. Only the DEA benefits from this bullshit.

I also found that odd. Did anyone listen to Obama's "Drug Czar" Gil Kerlikowske's interview on NPR about 3 days ago that was at odds with Eric Holders and the DEA's statement. "Raw marijuana is not medicine", "the Federal gov't has no plans to legalize marijuana", "opiates are heavily taxed and regulated and they're still heavily abused", Oh yeah "marijuana is the most heavily abused substance in our nation". Same shit as always.

This thread doesn't have to be closed if kb and marshmellow would grow up and knock it off. This is why I prefer growers forums over med forums. Everyone on the med forums gets on their high horse because they're "legal"(whatever that means), knowing damn well if Colorado revoked all med cards today those same folks would continue to smoke cannabis. The Clendenin case could've just as easily happened to any one of us, you can't blame them for what the court of appeals decided. If I was in her shoes I would've fought till the end as well. The "man" is the bad guy that's disrupting our rights, Clendenin was only standing up for hers legal or not.

Now, to defend myself against your FALSE ALLEGATIONS.
#1. 18? Eight fucking teen? You dumb bitch, I'm well over 30. Did you miss what's on the other side of the wall?
#2. My threads follow my whole progression, LEGAL progression through the system.
#3. Let's put my "rec #" aside & just use your logic.
EVEN IF I only had a rec for 3/6, I could use the "Affirmative Defense" and UNLIKE your friend, I WOULD HAVE CAUSE.
#4. Seriously...it is kind of amusing.

:sasmokin:

Really your over 30? Then act like it "dawg". I thought you were a med patient not a gangster oppurtunist? Calling a lady that you don't know a bitch and a ho and disrupting this thread with your garbage. KICK ROCKS TROLL. your discussion is no longer needed here.
