I smoke flower, and if the terpenes are at their peak, I prefer to harvest soon. I don't like to smoke overripe flowers that have started to lose terpene quality and intensity by harvest time. If it's for extractions, that's another thing—letting them overripe is fine, but not to the point where the plant's health starts to fade. Detecting this is not easy since it can happen suddenly.

Although modern demand calls for flowers as tight as possible, traditional dry sift hash producers (such as those in Morocco) complain about such dense flower structures. They prefer the same resin content distributed over long surfaces, as seen in more exposed, fluffy, foxtailed flower structures.

Buena semana ☀️

Yes thank you dubi, you were right and I already chopped them this morning (day 47). It's just that I'm not used to taking down my plants so soon, less than 50 days feels "wrong" to me somehow. But if they're done they're done 🤷‍♂️ 2-3 weeks was a bad estimate on my part.

A few more pics of the main colas.

And a few pics of the smaller buds. Some of them came out really pretty.

After having grown the full 10 pack now, I can say I'm very happy with this strain. It has been a struggle for me to find a good CBD strain since the only one I grew that I liked was the original Cannatonic, and that one didn't have a stable enough chemotype.

Great vigour, nice variety of smells/tastes, all of them very loud, good resin coverage.

I will give them all a second run in the future before I decide which one I'm going to keep, although I already have a favourite one. I also would like to see which of these gives a better return in extractions.

Good times, thanks for reading!

Hi everyone, today is Day 17 of the flowering phase, and the plants are doing well. Since the last update, they've grown significantly and are starting to show the first signs of flowering.

Has anyone here made hash from CBD#1? If so, do you have any pictures to share? Also, what micron size would you recommend for this strain?
Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone,

Could you please take a look at my CBD plant and let me know if it's ready for harvest? Today marks day 63 of flowering. Unfortunately, I couldn't get better pictures, but I hope the quality is good enough for an assessment.

Thanks a lot for your help!

I see ~ 40% amber trichomes. Since it's a cbd plant anyway it should be ok i think but don't know what your goal is or if you need it as medicine!?

It's frosty for sure!

CBD1 really beautiful rounded form with many shoots and short internodes, nice stinky indescribable smell, and on the lower branch thru this “splitting structure “ don’t really know what to call it. Overall just beautiful, should start flowering soon. 🌞

I think l'll wait a bit longer; many of the trichomes are still too clear for me. The trichomes are only mature on the outer leaves, as they tend to ripen first.

Impressive outcome with your CBD #1s @B23 I really like a lot the look of the resins in your last update (perfect time for harvest in my opinion), so happy you let them ripe a bit more :)

The bag appeal and resins of perfectly grown CBD #1 flowers can compete without any problem with modern strains in the market and surpass them.

Happy healthy bush @Green Zenit :) showing quite sativa dom traits with such branching and long nodes ehheheh the stem splitting in 2 separate branches looks like a minor fasciation.
Wish she is boosting now into flowering! ☀️

It is a beautiful plant Dubi! Nevertheless I think it got stunted by cold temperatures at night 2-3C for maybe 10 days in a row. 🥲. Barely starting to flower with pistils, but it never got droopy or anything. Could get her inside by I also enjoy looking for the limits of strength to my weather. I don’t really think she will finish tho.. could get a clone rooting 😇.

I am researching high cbc cbd strains. The main benefit of cbc are its analgestic properties and entourage effect with all the other cannabinoids.

In the cannabinoid analysis cbd#1 has shown up to 0.45% cbc. The test does not show cbda, so its fair to assume that it may contain over 1% of total cbca.

Has anyone tested cbd#1 for total cbc content?

For reference this is the test of a freak pheno with over 2% total cbc. It only shows 0.17% cbc but the sample seems less decarboxylated than the ones from the ace tests.

Hi @Probiomer Our CBD #1 would be the most suitable for your requirements, since it has a high CBD content fully stabilized, also consitently producing 0,4 % of CBC.

I'm now sure why the CBCA content is not listed at the analysis, should ask at the lab to know if the CBC content they state is for the total, or still need to the acid form of the cannabinoid (not stated there).
