i can see what docleaf was saying,,,
he was basically saying that he doesnt like us talking about this here because it was being used by the media as an attack on stoners,,, i think that is fair.. dont repeat the propaganda,,
such a big talking point over 1 cat,,, man this is the tip of the iceberg in animal cruelty,,,
we kill millions of cattle everyday for our food,,, but one stupid example of cruelty like this gets everyone talking,,, does it make people realise all the animal suffering people cause !? no they think about that one cat and the stoner that swung it around,,,
the scale of things is fucked up and shit like this helps skew it,,,
ive seen much more interesting examples of animal cruelty personally but people dont want to hear about it they would rather watch it voyeuristically and then talk about that which is what the media has turned us into,, gossiping away about the drama and not actually doing anything,,, more productivity stolen,,,
but i see where everyone is coming from.. just get pissed off because i have to rehome and sort out so many animals lives and have to see such petty bullshit from people that act like they care about animal life,,, people dont know what it is to care..

To start with there is way to much arguing goin on here. Second I dont really see why this is posted in the UK forum it should be in the tokersden. Yes it happend in the UK but do we really want threads like this spread around into each country that they originated in ? or would it be a better idea to just keep this type of topic all centered in the tokersden ? Well I can tell you this ... its way easier to keep track of for the mods if its just all in one place. I dont see the need of this just being in the UK forum ... lets put it out in the tokersden and try to keep all these type of subjects there ... its much easier

dude, i have my own 2 cats. i was trying to get him banned from the moment i saw that post which was right after he made it and i wasn't the only one, but only supermods or admin can ban so it took a few hours till one was around.

Shit was lame, didn't want to watch the video but cursed internet.. Cats are pretty tough, I love my cats, but the guy didn't manage to hurt it. More than a slap on the wrist is probably above and beyond. Though I agree it is probably some sort of indicator for sociopathy.
Where I live people really like to hunt. Now, if I were to recount the number of 'had to follow its blood for 2 miles before I caught it and cut it's throat' or any of the things around bird or fish hunting... But that's all in good fun.
I don't know where the line is. I know I like my cats and I don't want them to be hurt for fun. I also know that I have the same feelings when I see someone squash a bug or trap a mouse.
We love animals...they're equal to people in our house. Love all 8 of my kids, we protect them with everything we have. If you don't like my kittehs & leezards, GTFO bro
