Casey Jones Grow Along

Thanks y'all, ya I can elaborate...

She yields very well, both topped under a horizontal or in topped by a vert. Those first pictures are in 2.5 or 3gal pots and they will yield around a QP each. The pheno Lou said leans to the Casey is the skunkiest smelling and probably the lightest yielder, even tho she has really bubbly calyxs she's squeezeable, not so dense. The tighter stacked calyx phenos are denser.

The strength is excellent, it's one of those smokes that has a fairly common smell so u end up not grabbing that jar so much... But every time u do it smacks u in the face with a very pleasant uplifting high, and u immediately start questioning why you neglect the jar so often ;-)

So the smells end up being common, but it's absolutely made up in the frost department. She has a very gritty, sandy feel to her trichs, so much coverage that when she's dry she leaves behind frost everywhere! Probably excellent for dry sift.

anyone else have problems with the CJ x SB germinating?
They usually sink after about 12-18hrs of soaking, but once they go in the paper towels, they never seem to crack...

I've never had to use sandpaper on seeds before...

I've popped fifteen total now (germinated more after losing most of the first set to insufficiently-rinsed coco) with 100% germination. All seeds were germinated in paper towels without any pre-soaking or scuffing, and were moved to coco as soon as they sprouted tails. Almost all had cracked and had tails within about thirty hours and had broken the surface within the following twenty-four hours.

Not sure why you might be having problems, but I sure hope the others do better for ya man! Best wishes :D

Sour - I get 90%+ with the following tech:

Line Film canister with sandpaper and scuff seeds, 24 hour soak, straight in soil, put in airing cupboard = 48 hours you have seedlings.

The paper towel method was a waste of time and seeds for me.

I had an issue with 1 that stalled just after it broke ground and never stood straight up. Other than that I have 3 (started 4) very healthy seedlings.

^^agreed on the paper towel method. H20 for 24-48 hours then straight into coco.

Hey all wish I had a bit more time but only got a few here.

I suggest scuffing the cj/sb. I scuff everything then paper towels. No water soak and the paper towel is placed in a baggie in a warm place like a computer tower or next to ballasts. the sb adds that tough seed hull trait so they need it a bit more than usual. But many ways to skin a cat

Jm, unless you were tossing pollen and could have had some stray man juice in there, I'd guess s1... If only 6 popped up in 9 oz of dried flowers, I'm a happy camper. Flowers look killer too bro

Good vibes all!

no pollen chucking and no other reported seeds..

smokes absolute killer for a daytime high. The taste of lemon and a slite fuel taste on exhale comes threw with the lemon pheno.

the skunk pheno carries the smell and taste threw to a small extent more earthy than i would like on the exhale

I'd definately recommend popping the seeds If you got them .
8 out of 10 all around and I bet this round probabbly better another 7 days should really do the trick .
I'll get some dried shots up

You got me grinnin ear to ear LD wait till you see whats comming, any thing to look for in particular for the colored cut traits(cjbx)?Out of 2 beautiful fems .Ones has what I call racing stripes up the stalk (purple ) and not a deficiancy. It also dosnt show the strong lower branching that ive been seeing with the cj's

Hey jm... Colored cut likes to stretch. Super floppy and she does tend to grow lots more up rather than out without training. Secondary branches never get too big until stretch or training.

Single nanners generally from heat at 8+ weeks but always sterile.

Frost comes on early down the fan leaves as well. Smells are strong and of such a strange variety i have a hard time descriving. Maybe a sweet fuel skunk. She really mellows out once jarred but as soon as ya bust a nug its overpowering again. Not necessarily the most potent but certainly a happy daytime toke.

Colors come through the fan leaves first with aflush and eventually to the bud leaves and out most calyxs as long as you give them enough time. Best at 70+ and my favorite right around 75.

Also she likes to throw curved fingers everyonce and a while. Usually the ring or pointer likes to curve outward occassionally.

Racing stripes?? For sure, straight up and down the stalks, a redish, magenta.

Lots of shots in my cj album.

^^ Good news!

Some shots of the colored cut... Used as the female in any outcrosses sent in, as well as the lady in the cj BX1... Described above ^^

Stanky, floppy, beautiful buds. Temps hit mid 60s here at the end, and she goes pretty much black.
