Yeah I hear ya Lou!! Lol. I can say it hits hard and strong and last atleast a couple hours. Great night time smoke or if you want to ruin a day and just chill and relax. Its one of my all time favorite smokes because of flavor and potency. Shit is super expansive and is great for aches and pain. If I could keep a jar of this around in my stash for ever I would be a happy mofo.


Looking good lou. Bummer on the BX not taking so well but hopefully you end up with an assload of the others.

Hey GO, pretty crazy to think you found such a nice pheno with your first lady... Considering I tried to keep the gene pool wide open with something like 9 moms and an unknown number of dads to make the IX1... That tight nug, potent, vigorous hybrid plant is about the best you can ask for in terms of splitting up traits if you want my opinion

I've always got my colored cut, and happened to freeze some pollen, so more bx beans are certainly within reach, and will probably go down sooner rather than later to keep the pollen as viable as possible... First gotta focus on getting these down though....


And buddah, all plants pictured above have been pollinated... Sitting at 59 days now, and pollinated at 30, so I'll probably let them go 70/72 to make sure we get lots of healthy mature beaners...

Plan is to mix the tropical, lemon, and beer cup girls for the f3 beans... BX beans will be kept separate... But plans can change, so we will see, and if for some reason ppl have a problem with mixing them, I can always keep them apart, or have a f3/bx mix... But I think the first is the best way to bring casey to the peeps that want her....

Congrats on the first pull of the season brother!! That purple erdpurt was certainly a looker, and I bet very tasty smoke...

CJ x SB # 2, shes gonna be a monster, shes the frostier one, she seems to have put a lot of progress this past week. buds definitely getting fatter!

CJxSB # 3, stretched a bit more since last week. prolly around 4/5' tall right now

Things moving along... they seem a bit hungry, today I gave them some EWC tea with some kelp, alfafa, molasses, protek and some aloe vera juice! Hopefully this will fill their stomachs up!!

Yeah I got lucky as hell when I scored this lady. I am pretty damn sure I got a nice clone of her. If I do we are good. I also have yet another pheno left I think. I could be wrong but I want to say there is another female. I will pulling the rest of the last 2 plants to get chopped out today and putting 1-2 more back in.

Buddah, never grown the cj/sb ix1 indoors myself... GO and TB are the first I'm aware of, and this is my first season with them outdoors. They were made last season, but I ran some cj x sb and sb x cj, and I'd guess anything from 55-75 is in the IX1 beans... Lots of variation, but I think that's a good thing, depending what you're looking for...


And had to take a test nug today... No immature beans were found, so they are coming down sooner rather than later

Mine went atleast 8-9weeks or so. I lost track honestly. lol I just know they werent taking any more food and swelled up good. Also I check for 20% amber before I chop, I like that knock you out high.

I will say this pheno I have is the best pain meds I have found in any strain of herb yet!!! Even a fucking throbbing tooth ache!!! I have never in the 5yrs or so I have been growing found a strain that worked for pain well period. Been smoking alot longer than that but I dont recall much from back then and how strains did for me. lol

I 2nd that Those OD CJxSB gonna be tastey!

Checked the girls today... Things coming along. #1 got another 10-15 days, maybe 20 idk, we'll see! #2 is chunking up, seems like 5-6 weeks, gonna be a monster! So many bud sites #3 is showing doing work too, her pistils are reminding me of #1 pistils, which LouD told me is SB dominant... so we'll see. she did a lot of progress this past week and I think it will finish before Nov!

BW, great to hear the late blooming #3 is turning it up a notch... I don't see any of the phenos going past October, but you never know how those genes are gonna recombine


Took down all the CJ f2s and am drying beans as we speak. Tropical beast smells great, and the density is really amazing for a bunch of CFLs... Fantastic looking plant, great stretch, stress tested, and unreal calyx/leaf ratio...

CJ f2, dense lemon has gotten some serious funk to her in this last week... Lemon is certainly still there and overpowering when the buds are rubbed, but that funk stink while she is simply sitting there came through. Very similar to my colored cut, just wreaks and pulling some darker colors in the last few days!!

CJ f2 beer cup... Very frosty, not too much secondary branching, but very fruity and tight nuggets.


Went through my crosses, and have a bit less CJ x midnight madness and CJ x ultra sonja than I originally thought. So post up if you are looking for one of those crosses, and I will try my best to accommodate.

Good vibes all, I'll hit up C here in a few when the beans are dry, and iron out the details... Hopefully dirt cheap server fund is ok with the guys in charge and casey can spread her wings again and make some rounds!!

LouD, great news dude, love them crosses, I'll take some for sure and give a loved space in my garden next year for sure. How are the finishing times of these? Any idea on mold resistance etc? Growing in the swamp can be a bitch due to humidity... Need them hardy early strains to be able to finish proper!

Just did a seed run and grabbed a bunch of HFH gear also... Also found a few seeds here and then on the ACE Erdp and the Deep Passion that were harvested. Like 15 seeds total, gonna be fun to run these mystery mixes, just hope it wasn't any Atlantic Diesel that polinated them haha that would be a bummer, lets hope not

Next years garden will be mostly HFH and LouD's X's! Hopefully next year I'll get my shit together and X a few of the best early strains with some CJxSB to get them finish dates a bit earlier! Really impressed with HFH gear, and very affordable! Hopefully throw some for server funds and hook some friends up

I should have some CJxSB in a week or two! Pretty excited! I bet it will be the best smoke this year! #1 was starting to put out brown pistils and getting them calyxes swollen, last time I check it! Didn't find any mold spots, don't think it will be an issue, even tho it's pretty tight nugs, it has some distance between each and other to get some air ventilation thru! Can't wait to try it man, never had any SB or CJ, so it should be a delightful experience Wish I could share my 1st joint with you guys! Would make my day for sure

Anyways, GO, keep us posted on your lady grow Would love to tag along for this journey! Wish I could grow indoors, but circumstances don't allow me to, so I gonna have to wait till next years OD!

Hey LouDog420, glad to hear you got the beans harvested. You know we all want the Casey any way we can get it . Thanks for making those. I'll be shooting for some F3s or Bx, anything pure Casey really but I know all the crosses will rock out.

The 2 unknown CJxSB IX plants I have turned out to be female. Oh yea now i'll get to try some of this strain this year also. 1 is very SB dom. like the male was and the other is more of a mix but I still see a lot of the Bubble in it. These so far have been very nice plants, not too fussy or anything negative really. Lost 1 to bugs early on, 1 was male and I got 2 nice females out of 4 seeds. Still have the rest of the pack left to find some gems if I can't snag anymore coming up. They have at least 5-6 wks left maybe more, i'll have a better idea of when they should come down next week when I can look at them in the day and under my pocket scope. Looking forward to my harvest so I can enjoy these and all the other neat strains I ran this year. Take care 1

Casey Jones f3s - 50
Dense lemon and the tropical beast. Dense lemon has extremely potent aromas, with sour, funk, menthol, fruity. Honestly might be a bit more aromatic than my F1 cut. And the tropical beast, not as stinking, with spicey/fruity smells. Calyx to leaf ratio is out of this world, with great frost coverage. The beer cup girl was not included, as she didn't have what it took after all...

Casey Jones BX1s - 8
Casey jones stud crossed to my F1 colored cut. Sickly smells of funk, fruit, diesel, menthol and the purple colors with a good flush are characteristic of my colored cut. Not the biggest yielder but excellent quality.

Casey Jones x Arne's Snowdog - 10
Casey Jones F1 colored cut, crossed to 3 of the most vigorous Arne's Snowdog (Snowdog BX1 x Arne/Amnesia Haze) males I could find.

Casey Jones x C-Plus - 8
Casey Jones F1 colored cut crossed to a single C-Plus (California Orange x Blueberry) male. Vigorous with hollow stems and a nice stretch.

Casey Jones x Sour Bubble IX1 - 50
Bred outdoors in 2010 and 2011. An open pollination of various varieties which include (cj x sb, sb x cj, sb f2s, and cj f2s). Only selection involved removing runts early on, and mold prone plants late. So far the plants that have been found from the line look very promising. Expect huge amounts of variation, with 9 mothers, and an unknown number of fathers spawning this generation.

I do want everyone to keep in mind, the crosses are untested (except for the cj/sb which has been documented by a limited number of people)... I really liked the CJ f2 male I found, and stress tested everything with light leaks, changes in cycles, etc. I tried my best to make these as stable and a good representation of h3ads original as possible, but you never know how things may recombine with the polyhybrids... So I encourage anyone that does grow these out, to be vigilant and check for random nanners and full blow male flowers...


And last but certainly not least, a big thanks to the breeders whose gear I used for my pollen chucks... Those guys put in the hard work, not me. So a big thanks to H3ad, chimera, esben, and BOG!! All a bunch of stand up guys with some fine, fine cannabis

Oh yeah!!!! Another epic genetics drop by our good friend and excellent grower LouDog420!!!! Let me tell ya it will be the best money spent. I know this first hand. The last plants I have grown out from start to finish from Lou turned out to be some of the best herb I have grown and smoked in awhile. Easy to keep happy and grow with little to no issues.

His gear is better than some stuff I have paid $100-200 a pack for. Plus you support the forum which is good and it keeps this place up and running and improvements made.

Just check out my Casey Jones x Sour Bubble IX1 grow pics I posted. I am upset with myself cause I cant cash in on that strain cause I am smoking the shit out of it. lol I already killed a jar of it and working on another. Lol. I cant help myself.

Its great pain relief too, I have never in the 16 or so yrs I have been smoking found or can remember finding a strain that worked soo well for pain. EVEN TOOTH ACHE PAIN!!!!!!! The way I let mine go, its not a very motivating smoke but if taken a bit earlier that could change.
