Need to know more about you. Do you have a license/transportation? What interests you? What is good money to you? How large is the town/city you live in?

here's my career guidance

if you like helping people even when they are being majorly bitchy you should go into retail sales
if you ditto above and you dont mind the sight of blood you perhaps go into emergency services
if you dont like people and would rather give them a back hander than help them out you should go into transportation and distribution
if you are a control freak and you like technology then IT support is the calling for you (especially if you have a leaning for transportation and distriution as well)
if your browser cache has more than 50% porn then clearly the hospitality industry needs you

but seriously its pretty easy really, find the thing you really love doing and just keep doing that. the key words here are "just keep doing that" which is where people go wrong. they stop the doing of the that.

if you think about it, the people that others perhaps admire and say are lucky people are really those that have found their passion. Thats why we think they are lucky.

good luck with your journey

Hey you know how to grow don't ya? Then grow! Thats the path I've taken. Look into horticulture or something similar.

I have a good friend that has dropped out at the age of 16-17 too. Only he didn't go back to get a GED. Congrats on at least going back for that.

There are plenty of jobs with a GED. You're not going to get 30k right away, but you can't expect to either. Maybe work in a music store and go to school. Factory work is always in demand. But I would go to school, like Valencia and work for money. Graduate in 2 years with an AS or AA degree from Valencia, then transfer to a 4 year school - UCF, UF, etc... or get a job out of Valencia. You're only 18 - plenty of time. Plus because of your age, nothing is really expected of you as far as being successfull is concerned.

Yeah thats basically what this thread is about Going to school for WHAT? Thanx for your help haha you know the situation LOCALLY.

Yeah, my bad. But you didn't really list any interests besides music and grass. Can't help you there, unless you go to school for music. Or unless Valencia offers a growing class, but I doubt that.

If you're expecting to make $30/hour, you are going to be thoroughly disappointed. At least at this stage in your life, it's simply not realistic.
