CAP Ozone generator- do these work?

I'm thinking of adding one after my scrubber as air is sent to my garage. There is still a little scent getting through. My scrubber is 2 weeks old and is sized okay. I'm currently running uvc light with little to no effect on the odors. I'm thinking o3 next to clean up my two car garage. Will this work good?

rr14, I have a cap ozone gen but went with the scrubber route instead. The ozone scent was quite noticable when it ran for longer periods than necessary. I believe they are rated for 5500 cu ft of air treatment. I think they are great if your venting to outside but not to an enclosed area. FYI, the CAP gen is made to fit inside a 6" duct or larger(will not fit in 4"...verified) if this helps. Maybe check out the CAP Jr. that is not as powerful. Shocked that your scrubber is not doing 100 percent of the job. Maybe an air leak or the air is being passed over the carbon too fast or positive pressure in your grow area. Hope this helps!

Ozone can be used in an inclosed grow area... I would not use something like a cap ozn-1 in an inclosed area, its output is huge (1000mg/l hour), and it looks like it has no timer. When i ran ozone in my closet grow, I only ran it 10 seconds a minute i beleive on low setting, there was no ozone smell, or odor...

I agree there could be a leak in your ducting. Check that out. Ozone Generators work well too I have a Uvonair 5000 which cleans close to the same amount as the big Cap. You'll want to set it on a timer because the Ozone gets overpowering sometimes. I use both carbon scrubber and O3 although I'm sure I don't even need the Ozone Generator. With both of these though odor is never a problem.

The 03 is a good clean up man when used with the carbon filters. It will get any odor leaks in the room
