In the word of R. Lee Ermey,

I would prefer to "gouge out their eyeballs, shit down their throat" and proceed to skullfuck them.

thats actually a great point about those leap guys, i mean they had their entire careers to speak up and didnt. they were propably happily busting smokers for decades before they retired and got some sense into their skulls. so from me they get one little shiny star for the effort, but also a big FUCKYOU for decades of busting smokers. seriously how can those pigs even live with themselves? i mean its one thing if theyre completely brainwashed and actually think theyre doing something good busting potsmokers, but its a whole nother thing to do this shit for years and then quit and do a 180 and say its actually bad. in a way thats even more twisted than the 100% brainwashed LEO.

yeah yeah i get it they have kids to feed and shit, but still fuck that. i'd rather suck dicks for a living then be a professional asshole and fuck over other ppl to get my money.

I dont get what the DEA agent was trying do,
Get the bartender to serve him alcohol without asking for an ID and then charge him?
Sick bastards, I love the police but mall-security and narcs are fucking crackfiend scumbags.

no the federal agent was not enforcing state liquor laws. he was trying to implicate the bartender in a narcotics buy.

the agent isn't allowed to break any local laws, so showing a fake ID is not an option. the only way for him to get a drink legally is to reveal his identity.

the OP demonstrated some quick thinking, balls, and compassion. kudos!

And what was the right thing to do? Quit? I'm sure some did. I've read that one guy was fired just for speaking his mind. What about the members of LEAP who are judges? I would expect them to correctly interpret the written law instead of impart their personal views on their decisions (especially after cannabis is legal).

Would you honestly rather not have these ambassadors on our side? I am grateful for people like Judge Jim Gray speaking out against the war on drugs.

I've been afforded much more grace than I deserve in this life and I'm willing to pass that along where there is genuine reconciliation.

That had to offer a little feeling of revenge. Good for you.

A bunch of us were busted by undercover police on a beach in NoCal many years back for having less than 1 gram of weed between the six of us and a pipe. (I took the rap.) The entire episode took a couple of hours. During that time we quizzed the coppers on THEIR substances of choice and put in a good word for lsd. hehe

A few weeks later I was attending a reggae show on the wharf in San francisco. A few local cops in uniform came barging through the crowd in front of the stage. I was dosed and had just just finished burning one down when I recognized one of the pigs as one of the undercover guys in Marin county weeks before. I smiled at him. Asked him if he remembered me. (he did.) Then I shook my head and walked away into the music..

Anyway, state undercover might work both alcohol and weed, but I doubt the feds would, as mentioned above.

I was gone for the season. how did that adventure play out aero?

walked into a bowling alley here years ago. buddy i hadn't seen in some time was pot bowling (gambling) with a couple of guys i knew, one of whom was a city narcotics agent. my friend saw me and came up to say howdy. i asked him WTF he was doing. he said "after this last game, i'm gonna go pick up a qp for that guy down there (the cop). i told him "that fucker is a city cop!. " he didn't even go get his shoes. he threw a twenty and his bowling shoes on the counter and went out the door on the run. the look on that bastards face when he looked up and saw me was wonderful...

When I got popped in 2008 they seized just about everything they could for me including the home and I had to fight to get that back locally but it took two years before I got my 4 wheelers and my trailers and my computer gears and my literature when I went to retrieve it the very same detective was there just as nice as can be at the state barracks shook my hand and said here you go
