Some illustrations of several different soilless media mixes that we examined during experiments with SRBGB`s.
We have tried large troughs, also. The illustrations primarily depict 20 gallon SRBGB`s. They held approximately four (4) specimen each. We did not employ pumps or active recirculation though; we proceeded using the Drain-To-No-Waste [Method] that we describe in our subforum, watering only once per 24hr period. Note the approximate 45 degree angle of the bamboo stakes extending towards and outside of the outer walls of the 20 gallon SRBGB at post #4 (Soilless Gardening).
