Hey man I made some cages like you have a cpl posts back from just garden fence with bamboo stakes threw it into the soil. I don't want to tell you what to do believe me but you mite want to trim everything out from behind the screen or pull it to the front and tie it down. I have learned that this help keep everything even an the crap in the back just sucks up energy that can be given to proper sites. just my $.02

That bud looks amazing. I am out of my stash and now at the mercy of the street for at least the next 2 months.

sorry for the dbl post didn't see the picture above with the cool tube. I am pretty sure I read some where that glass blocks usable raise from the bulb, looks like you are far enough way from the plants to worry about burning them.

That seems ta be the consciences with glass. No matter how well made the hood.

Taking both lights out of hoods and going bare bulbs. I wanted the hood for scrog grows down the road.

if you are going to pull it threw do it now or else you will get more stretch between your nodes. if you pull them threw now they will be closer to the light and the canopy will be more even. If not they will be forced to stretch to the light creating longer internodal stretch since the stuff in the front is closer it will have shorter denser buds compared to the stuff that was pulled up threw after the stretch being longer lankier airier buds because they had to stretch farther to get enough light.

Yep the environment is much better. .
Temp 72-76
RH 45-48

Changed air flow-covered anything with water in it and added a 300w CFL (dry air )at the bottom of hood.

Worked like a charm..
No dehuey yet-would like one before last stage of flowering. Just incase..


I know I know... bare balb... lol. Them GSC are what I blame... Flipping getting lost somewhere between thinking and doing...

By far the best cookies I've had yet...

Fixtures go on the fenceposts @ the farm for target practice , and the ballast combo`s go ta work.....

Bare bulbs rule and all else drool.....bet on it....Dial environment first , and then provide proper watts per sq ft and it`s all good.........

see thats the thing, I mean its prolly just me but I look for the deals on known gear, I got a 600 quantum w/ a hortilux bulb for $238, I know the ballast is quality cuz I have a 400 that has never given me an issue. Hot starts with out a problem no waiting for a 1/2 hour for it to cool before It re-fire, then the bulb hortilux 600 at least $100 so that makes the ballast only 138 no fixture of course but who needs that But like I said thats just me I like to pay for something once an be done with it.

Getting true deals on ebay is not always easy. Lots of out bids and lots of looking/waiting for what u want only ta get out bid on it.

I only buy from people that have good long term reputation on ebay.
Once I find a deal I like. I Google the hell out of it and see what I can find on what im buying. Then it has ta be a steal.

Take the 600 for $130. Buy now is $250
430 hood was $115 buy now was $200
300LED was $250 buy now over $460 (still nervous about this one)

oh and this tent.. come on $170... I dont understand how they make money. This tent is $360 any place eles.

The only way I could find name brand high-end equipment at a good price is used. Now that scares me..

That being said.lol. Once these toys start bring in money.
Its only smart to reinvest in upgrading to equipment.

Buy toys-make $-buy equipment-give toys to the next grower. (At a good price)

Little observations on ebay deals.

Lots of trimming machines for what seems way under priced. Like $300-$600 for full size set up. That I have seen for thousands.
Guessing thats a sign of just how many growers are producing. Huge quantities of dankness.

Not that I will need one for a few more years... lol

For yrs and yrs the ONLY shit I bought online came from MDhydro.com cuz the guy`s website sucks but his package deals made up for it in spades......well....I did get my carbonaire scrubbers and vortex inlines from plantlightinghydroponics.com but , I had a close friend`s nursery and landscaping supply co. to have shit shipped to and he never knew what the shit was for so it was all good.......

For instance MD hydro Eye Horti bulbs for 65 bucks compared to 100 everywhere else.....but that`s been a few yrs , so the only other thing I`ve got ta say bout e-bay is have a safe addy ta ship to if yas ain`t got a med card cuz all that shit`s logged and looked at by LEO on a regular basis.....bet on it.....

Cheap is as cheap does like AD made reference to , so run em briefly and upgrade if yas got em , and Bobbles......what lumen output are the Ushio`s ?......

Heath always used Philips and Sylvania bulbs cuz he got deals on em in the UK......Hell .....He was getting the newest Lumateks for 150 bucks back when I was payin 250 , but with my pkg deals I did ok for ballast bulb combinations when bulk purchasing.........

I ain`t lookin for equipment cuz I`ve got shit tons stored , but rather just askin so it would be brought out and discussed for folks to read and decide for themselves.......anyways.....solid info Bobbles....
