Cannabutter, how much butter to use.

Hi, I know there's plenty of posts already but can't find a simple answer to my question. I've got 41grams of popcorn buds and sugar trim. How much butter should I use with this amount of canna?
I'm planning on making cookies and I want to really feel the effects.

Well I've just been out and got 500g of UN salted butter. I guess I will just have to see if it turns out good.

Decarb the weed at 250f for 30 minutes for the best effect.

Good to know, I think I've ducked up already. I've grinded all the buds and trim to dust now. Can it still be decarbed? Yeah sure I will let you know how it goes. I'm gonna make the butter tonight when there's less chance of someone coming to my door and catching a whiff. Will bake the cookies in the morning, I will eat one and let you know if it works. Last time I made butter I dumped 150g of cannabutter in a chilli and really messed me and the woman up for a few hours haha.

I always use 250 gram butter and ca. 40 gram trim and minibuds.

You need to convert the THCA.

Pre-heat oven to 250f put stuff in bowl or pan and cover with foil.

Let it go for 30 minutes or so. It should be a little brown.

You'll be good to go!

You jinxed me, I decarbed as you said. I then simmered for 2 hours on stove. I then got out a sieve and an old ice cream tub an preceded to pour butter through sieve.... Boom, only went and dropped the saucepan on the kitchen work tops. Butter all over the tops. I panicked and shouted to Mrs. She came in and went straight to the cupboard and grabbed the window sqeege. She rinsed it off and then scrapped most of the butter back into the pan.
I'm useless in an emergency, I remember I set fire to our ovens last year. I just run around confused about what to do and the Mrs always sorts it haha.
Anyway, the dog in my profile picture. She's probably gonna be all messed up in about half hour.
While I was stressing and the woman was saving the day, my dog was licking up butter that had got onto the floor.
Lol she will sleep well tonight, I had a boxer some years ago that ate nearly half oz of hash. She was laid out for nearly 24 hrs.

Well she ain't pretty. From the 500g of butter I only got 275g of canna butter back. The rest of it was wiped up with paper towels and mopped or the dog ate it.
Should still get a few cookies from this though. There's still like dust size bits of plant in there but I ain't worried about that because I'm not making these because they taste nice. I just hope they get me and the woman high.

Butter can easily make a mess that's why I use Coconut Oil. And I get 15 ounces back out of 16.

Well I'm half way through baking cookies. I've just ate one 15min ago. So not long and I should know if my butter was any good. They didn't taste bad at all. I put a bit extra vanilla in them to combat the weed taste. Gonna get about 30 cookies from the mix. Will post a photo soon of my cookies and give you a buzz report... If there's a buzz.

Depends how potent popcorn buds are....enjoy! Eat sparingly until you know how potent it is!! Mmmmm.

They worked a treat. I only had one, about an hour later it started hitting my legs. Then it was like I had smoked aload of weed in one hit. I didn't like it at first but it mellowed. Now it's like I just wanna sleep.

My CannaCookies are 60mg Indica THC a good dose for me.

I use 1 oz of 20% Tested Buds per pound of Coconut Oil.

By using tested Buds I can better determine dosage.

1 pound of CannaCoco Oil yields 100 CannaCookies.

i used 1oz of primo sdkush tops with 2 sticks (8oz) of unsalted butter- put it into a crock pot- after 1 hr as i was stiring it, i had 2 large buds + some kif sitting there , so i threw that in tooo.. cooked it about 8hrs, strained it, then into the fridge overnite- strained the black water the next morning, and added hot water and stirred, and back into the fridge- did that for 4 days until the water was clear..

i got close to 7oz of butter- i made 11 cookies with 44g of butter (4g per cookie)- i ate one... in an hour i barely made it to bed- i was fuk'd... couldnt walk, could not talk- worse thing i have done in 40years... still have the butter in my freezer... no way i'll ever eat it... meantime other people loved the cookies... go figure...
