Cannabutter Dilemma

Ok I just got 500g of untrimmed, immature bud. Which the majority of(75%) has been sitting in an uncovered bucket, in my mates closed shed for the past 6 months, the other 25% was either picked from the dried dead skeletons in the corner or from the dusty floor.

Can I still make cannabutter?

If so, because the plants were immature will I need to use more plant matter to less butter.

Also should I grind it or leave it as buds and leaf?

Will post pictures soon... maybe.

Well if it is rotten or has a bunch of shed shit on it I wouldn't be overly excited about it, but from the standpoint of using immature plants for butter that is a big 10-4. I use male plants and trim, and even veg trim for butter and it all works. With mixed trim I use about 1/2 oz per stick of butter and a pan of brownies cut into 9 will kill 9 people quite effectively.

Grind it all up as much as you can. Seeds, stems, leaf, buds... per 1/2 oz put a couple cups of water (enough to float the trim) and a stick of butter in a crockpot on medium for 8+ hrs. It doesn't need to boil but it can as long as it isn't fully boiling. Simmer is good. Strain through a colander into a dish. If you have heavy rubber dishwashing gloves they work great for squeezing out the ball of vegetation. Just pick it up into your hands while it is still hot and squeeze as much of the butter out as you can. If you want to re-filter it all again you can. I do it through a t-shirt scrap and into the final dish. Cover that dish(s) and put in the fridge for 12 hrs. The butter will solidify at the top and you can just pull it out and wipe off any slimy stuff. It is then ready to use or freeze for later. Pour out the nasty green water obviously! If you use real butter it works great and you will get about a stick back fior each you put in. Oil based spreads may partially evaporate and give you a little less back than you put in, so add a little extra or just add a little when you bake. Spreads and margarine both work great but they aren't as solid as butter. Any boxed brownie recipe that calls for oil can use butter instead and it won't make a difference to the final product. You can even spread it on toast, put into a hot buttered rum, or consume anyway that you would consume butter. Once it is in butter or oil it is fully digestible. In plant form or hash form it is not easily digested.
