Someone may correct me on this but I believe it's because they test the pot BEFORE it is decarboxylated so the acid has not yet been converted. So, there is little to none THC, CBD, CBG, etc while there is a measurable amount of each in the precursor acid form.


Theoretically, I guess the THCa would convert 1:1 to THC while it's being smoked/vaped/whatever.


Now, if one was tested fresh off the vine while another was cured, the cured would definitely be someone decarb'd and therefore showing a higher THC because some of the THCa has been converted due to natural decarboxylization.

(10g of THCA turns into 8.77g of THC)

I have gotten higher from a sativa dominant at 15% thc then other strains testing above 20%. I believe if too much cbd is in it then no matter the amount of thc the high will still be diluted.

If you want what is tested you have to grow what is tested. In other words... you need to acquire a clone of the plant that was tested.
You’re not likely to find the same in seed form unless you plant many (100’s) seeds of the same variety.

I'm sorry guys I know the industry is doing big:major things nowadays. But if I got a running nose there's a strain to help/cure this. There's some med qualities, but not for all the stuff they try to say. But it's great what the industry is doing and I shouldn't have said that but it's just what my knowledge of 30+ yr smoking tells me.




Well somebody help me get a clone or 2 and I'll put this topic to bed real fast. I've got some 30gal containers I'll put these baby's in and grow it out on a grow diary step by step. Since there's no seeds I don't have any problem I'll run this strain either way clone/seed. Like I've said I'm sure it's a good strain. I'd love to try them.

I smoke 6 pounds a year of "top grade medical, man" and I am in constant pain. I have incredible PTSD that NEVER stops pounding on my brain and I am so depressed that the only time I laugh is when I read a post about medical marijuana. As for helping mental disorder.... OMG!!!
