The book "THE MARIJUANA GROWER'S GUIDE" by Frank and Rosenthal ( 1992 edition ) ( 2nd section ) (3rd Chapter ) reports THC and CBD concentrations from police seized cannabis :

So the sample from Nepal with THC 10.9% had atleast 8.8% CBD , possibly more . The most THC concentrated samples were from Greece and the lowest CBD plants as well .

FACT: Sure you could smoke them but they will not get you high, they may get you a bit loaded as all of the THC will have been broken down into CBN.
Like 5-10 year old buds or resin keep at room temp. (some folks claim they can get high from fresh pipe scrapings, I have my doubts, I know you can get loaded)

FACT: Over 70-90 million Americans have tried Marijuana with only 10 million users, while the USA addiction rates for heroin are 1/2 million users and 4 million have tried it. For or amphetamine 10 million have tried and 1.5 million are users, while cocaine is less then 2 million users and 22 million have tried it.
I guess my question is where are all the 70-90 million addicts? And why isn't beer or cigarettes considered gateway drugs, while Cannabis is??

Yeah, I could lay into all of the myths you list, but this is one that I hear all the time that pisses me off (besides the "brain damage" bullshit).

They've taken raw statistical data and have tried to turn it into a causal explanation for hard drug usage.

People began to realize that marijuana isn't all that dangerous even relative to drugs such as caffeine, so the government (who'd shouted about DANGEROUS MARIJUANA for decades) had to back off of that tactic. Instead, they began to claim that even though marijuana isn't that bad, it leads to other drugs that really are bad; the dreaded GATEWAY DRUG.

If you look at the data, what it says is a large percentage of hard drug users admit that they have used marijuana at some point before starting hard drugs. To anyone with a brain, that isn't surprising. The government conveniently leaves out the fact that most regular marijuana smokers do not use hard drugs.

Following their logic, one could just as easily say that a large percentage of hard drug users admitted they've eaten fast-food before starting hard drugs, so fast-food is a gateway drug, er... food.

On the hops - cannabis grafting thing. There was a guy on another forum who claimed he had successfully pollinated a Lowryder female with pollen from the male flowers of the hops plant growing in his back yard. He only got a few seeds and only got one plant, it had normal cannabis leaves but grew with a very different structure, branching of and growing horizontally like hops. He claimed he got bust before it finished lfowering and the plant was lost. I smelled a rat and it may have been a hoax, although the detailed grow diary with lots of pics was very convincing.

I obtained some male hops flowers and tried breaking them open and dusting the pollen onto a female cannabis plant. Never produced any seeds. I did a little research and hops and cannabis pollen grains are pretty much the same, being the same size, I suppose it is possible to hybridise the two, but no idea if it has ever been done.

Someone I know recently tried to tell me that his father told him the strongest bud he had ever smoked had mold on it and it was a more advanced high.I told him thats not true and he could get really sick.Hopefully he listened to me and told his dad what I said because thats really nasty.I dont know why someone older than me wouldn't have the common sense to know mold is bad.

If you use Female oral contraceptive added to your water then water your plants (from seed) they will all be female plants. I laughed so hard when I heard that one I almost pissed my pants!!!!!

I'd have to say in my experience cannabis definately was the gateway drug to LSD and eventually cocain and heroin.Not because I got bored with the high but because I couldn't get access without eventually being exposed to the harder drugs.This wouldnt be a problem for someone with life experience or even good guidance,but when a kid is exposed to dangerous drugs in the pursuit of a relatively harmless drug things have to change.Things have changed since my experience in the 70s but not for the better.

There were lots of people many years ago Fruit and veg growers as well as weed growers who used partiular types of the 'mini-pill' to sometimes double their yield and intensify Smells and tastes also.This isn't BS as far as I know(I'm sure it was an AskEd question in HT ages ago and may be the roots of this other crap about females. Obviously the problem was you dont wanna smoke the weed in case it passses on some wierd hormones or such like! J

I have one.How alot of younger people think Hydroponically grown marijuana is super potent.It is the same in potency as soil grown marijuana there isnt a difference.
