Yep. I found it. He was sentenced in U.S. District Court which is federal. Mandatory minimums. Don`t go anywhere near 100 plants people. That includes your cuttings. Especially in San Diego.

Stealing electricity is a federal offense. I think stealing any utility is a federal offense (google: utilities fraud.) I doubt the $18000 represents only the amount the electricity was worth. I'm sure they set-up some sort of plea deal where he does the five and the fine, and they let the grow charge slide.

Interesting... I didn`t know that. Don`t steal power or grow over 100 plants!!!
