Anyone grown Sugar Loaf? If heard some good things about it.

I grew out the Mextiza; really easy to grow, and fast. Lemon lime and brown sugar in the vape. The high was much different than anything else that I've ever had, it was nice, but it really was not potent enough for me. Maybe it was just 'cause I vaped it not smoked it. Not sure I like vaporizers.

I had Nepal Jam and Panama but I lost those.

I grew it a few years ago indoor and one individual outdoor guerilla a little under 50°N.
Outdoor this individual trigger flowering late august (cool august, not so shinny), i took her beginning october coz big rains, but no mold ( she was intentionally seeded and they pop in the buds: big big rains)
Indoor: vigorous, easy to grow, feed well, branchy, good stretch, can yield very good with a little experience, good ratio calyx/bractea, very strong fruity smell (mango, bergamot, orange blossom) with spicy/woody undertone (a little like patchouli), sugary.
The effect is a quite powerfull but not a killer, a nice balance between body and mind, quite clear headed. Easy to scrog, good reaction to topping, pruning, etc.
Her best trait is smell and taste, very complex, all in shade between fruit (mango, bergamot and a little apiaceae like carrot or fenel in early cure) and woody spicy background. Very subtle. The second good trait is yield.
Some individuals can show a semi autoflowering trait if root bound, like the grapefruit clone (never grow it myself, but from what i read). These individuals start earlier to alternate leaves, it's a capricho trait.
The individuals i prefered were the more capricho influenced (more "sativa" looking), thin stem, very little teeth at the leaf margin, early alternate branch, smell strong even in veg.
Some of the best taste and smell in my experience, maybe the best i grew in the sweet fruity category.

Thanks pastor for your wonderful post! There is a thread on here, with some cool pics of the Sugar Loaf. Need to do a search.

I'm just hesitant to try anymore of their creations, because I'm not sure that they are strong enough in either direction.

The Taskenti looks good, but it's no longer around; this one also has NL in it, but that is ok.

How many phenos did you go through and how many times did you run them? Did it have a decent cure? About how much did you smoke/yeild. Was it the fem or reg release? Sorry for so many questions. I have a crush on that line.

Charlie has said the Mextiza needs a slow two month cure to bring out potency. I have heard it is more daytime smoke but there is a super potent pheno to be found.

Tude has some Taskenti in stock btw.

On the sativa side maybe a Panama or Malawi breeders pack would be more your style?

3rd year on ace genetics. Outdoor 35s. Bangi and Nep Jam live up to the reputation. I get very popular around harvest time for some reason.

Last year was not the greatest due to high male to females but my uncles zamal made up for it grown in mullumbimby.

This year looks like the best year ever. Smells amazing. Photos this weekend.

I found that 30 days of curing made all the difference with Mextiza and pushed up the potency a notch. I regret smoking most of her too early.

Hey bro, I think CBG no longer wants to be seen as connected or related to ACE... in fact Charlie Garcia asked his account removed from ICMAG.

Red Snake is top for sure!

Peace.

If Charlie Garcia is around and can read this. I have a bunch of Taskenti F2's that I made from some very old F1's that he gave me a long, long time ago and I want to give them back. Use PM's please. Later, Stash

I want to give some love and a big thank you to Rafa at CBG. In my last order, he included a Destroyer/Panama pack of freebies. Awesome!
